Error's POV:
I rubbed Dream's arm as he laid on my chest, his eye sockets closed. I watched the clouds move from outside the small window. I tore my gaze away from the pale blue sky and white fluffy clouds when I felt Dream shift. I looked over to him to see his head was on my lap. I felt my cheeks grow warm as he watched out the window, just as I was doing before.
"...Ya know, this wasn't the way she kept people in beforehand." I suddenly said. Dream looked over curiously.
"What Do you mean?" he asked, looking at me with his golden eye lights.
"While Still cruel, she was a tad kinder beforehand. Fate was the one who brought me inside from the snowy outdoors. For the first half of my time here before escaping, she didn't hurt me. She just asked me to do stuff like cleaning around the castle or make food. She wasn't always cruel. Her sister was kind too. Then Destiny became ill. I suggested she seek you guys out several times since they said most sides had healing magic and more advanced medicine, unlike me. I'm not sure why they refused to, but they did." I explained while staring off into space, not noticing Dream sit up and become invested in the story.
"So What happened?" He questioned.
"Destiny passed away from the illness. They were close sisters, not surprisingly. Their parents passed from a young age. All they had was each other. Fate then started to blame me since I'm the only side without healing magic, my guess is from being out in the cold for the first few days I was formed. They had no evil intent, just two girls who needed a place to stay. Nobody takes a death of a close one well though. She took her pain out on me. She began to beat me, poison me, stuff like that until I escaped. I tried comforting her but she would always blame me. Truthfully, I didn't want to leave. Fate and Destiny practically raised me. Fate was changing though and not for the better. It was an abusive relationship and first advice is always to escape. They told me to always leave if anyone becomes abusive to me, so I did. Blue found me in the forest and took me back to the Mind Palace. Time passed and you know the rest." I finished.
"Wow... I wish I could have met the kinder Fate and Destiny. They sound like amazing women." Dream said. I turned away from the wall to see him leaning on my shoulder.
"They were. Sadly, time makes everyone change, For better or for worse we can only try to help. In the end it's always that person's choice on who they become." I hummed.
"Wonder why they never came to the village." Dream said.
"Village?" I pondered.
"Nightmare, Bal, and I used to be the king and queen's kids of the DreamTale kingdom. Our mom died after giving birth to Bal and our father went missing years ago. Nighty used to look after the tree, I would adress the people, and Bal and Father would do paperwork." Dream explained.
"What about wars?" I asked.
"As far as I know, we never had any. Though Father never did like telling us about that kind of thing... I wonder if Father had asked Bal to help him with that... they did spendalot of time toghter right before his disapperance..." Dream began to mutter to himself.
