THIRD PERSON POV
Ross was running. He could feel his heart pumping at outrageous speeds. He could hear the clash of metal, the sounds of yells. The person chasing him was gaining on him. He tripped on a tree root and fell flat on his face. It wasn't long before he could feel the blood flowing down his chin. He scrambled to his feet, only to be pushed against the tree by a person whose face was covered by shadows. He let out a low chuckle, the kind that chills you to the bone. For the first time, he got a good look at his face - well, part of his face - his black hair covered one eye. He had angled Asian features and the sick , twisted, grin of a madman. He was about to throw a punch, but there was nothing he could do. Not while being held against a tree. Ross
needed to be on the ground for his powers to work. He hit him square in the jaw, and in return he kicked him in the side. Ramming into the tree again, he readied an other punch, but it never came. Instead a vine came out and grabbed his attackers wrist. Than another on the mans leg which made him loose his footing. The two of them fell to the ground. Ross gets up and summons his staff. As the male gets shakily to is feet. Then hits the attacker in the chest. Makings the attacker fall back on ground with a hard this. One more hit from the vines he groans and stops moving. Shelby comes out of the shadows of the trees she was hiding behind. After that she restrains the person to the ground with some very strong and thorny vines. A scream rings through the trees masking leaves and animals scurry with fear. With one look at each other Ross and Shelby start running towards the scream.n

Shelby's POV
What happens next I cannot truly believe it's just like my dream. We were running through the woods trees blurred by. I felt the vines and leaves trying to protect us. We reach the clearing I see people but their all different, I hear shouting but can't make out the words. And like in my dream everyone was fighting. But they looked different. Then I fighting looked like shadows. The thing I saw shocked me I saw someone that looked like Jess and Riley yet they were different. And I watched Scott someone ran up behind one of the shadows with a sword. I watched in slow motion as Riley jumps in front saying don't hurt him. This can't be happening. This must be a dream. I'm frozen by fear and confusion. I watch as the sword connects with Riley's back. I can't believe just a few days ago we were just playing around and training.

Two week before this event
Max's POV
We meet back at the living room all of us with new accessories. Somehow we all ended up going through the same door. Something is definitely up with this house. We all sit down where we sat when first arrived. You can tell everyone is more comfortable around each other. After a bit of light chitchat they usher us into the kitchen and through what looks like a back door. Which leads to a part of the forest far from here. There's a small lake, lot trees, and bushes it seems very secluded. The woman who I now know is Lauren stomped the ground and bleacher like seats come out of the ground. We are all in aw. She see the looks and takes a small bow and says "thank you thank you I'll be here all week". After that Mark asks us to partner up. We all shrug. I am about to go with Ross ,but surprisingly Riley asked him first. I can see the shyness in his eyes yet he still said yes. This is surprising I assumed that she would partner up wit Jess, I guess  I'm wrong. I turn to ask Sky to be with me. To find him getting ready to ask Jess to spare. Shelby walks up with a grin on her face and tells me she can't wait to kick my butt. I tell her in her dreams. Sky and Jess volunteer to go first.

                          Sky's POV
We walk to the middle of the clearing. I could feel the eyes of the others on Jessie and me. We both take our stance. As we here Mark shout begin. I try to get a hit on her but she's so quick and nimble. It's as if she's been fighting since she was a kid. She does a low kick a knocks my feet out from underneath me. She jumps higher than humanly possible! She grabs onto a branch and pushes herself upward. She disappeared into the leaves. I turn not knowing where she went to. I turn to find her behind me. Before I can get my barrings Jess kicks me square in the jar. I get pushed into a tree with so much force. It felt like the wind it's self was pushing me. I felt all the air get pushed out of me. The air around me feels electrified. I gathers it around me and I use it to just to push myself one last time. As I do a pair of nunchucks appear in my hand. Jess is not quick enough to doge but does think fast enough to counter with what looks a bow made of air. As they connected a explosion of electrified air pushed the two of us to the ground. I can basically feel nothing in my body. The mentors wait a couple seconds to see if ether Jess or I can make another move. After waiting Callum stands and says it was a draw between us and we both battled well. Max comes and helps get me up and Riley helped Jess to her feet. The two of them are talking in low voices. Riley seems very concerned about Jess and what just took place.

Riley's POV

As the battle went on I could almost feel Aphmau wanting to go divine. Luckily she got herself together and only what I assumed was her elemental powers. When the collide between her and Sky happened I thought for sure she would be badly injured. So I tried to over to Aph ,but the mentors made me wait to see if they were truly done. As soon as Callum said they were done I was by Aphmau's side. She gets to her feet I hold on to so she won't fall over I haven't seen her this drained in a very long time. We make our way back I told her what I felt. And as a precaution ask her ,if she can, look for signs of me transforming. She gives me a weak nod as she sits on the bottom row of the bleachers. Once she's settled, Ross comes and asks me if I'm ready to battle. I give him a grin and tell him I was one of the top werewolf fighters at my old school. Then he says oh great now I remember I'm fighting an alpha wolf. I chuckle and put my ears and tail away, which surprise everyone it's rare that I ever do that, and shout to Ross that I leveled the field for him. I heard Lauren yell begin. The two of us ran towards each other as we were getting closer I was about to land a punch in his chest. With quick agile movements he turns, grabs my wrist, and throws me into the lake all in one movement. I land in the lake (which was deeper then expected) with a huge splash. I can feel the water encapsulate me. I started flailing around knowing I needed air. Than in my moments of pure fear a thought came to mind. What if I can breathe under water. Hesitantly I breathe in and it's fine just like breathing air. I use this to my advantage I make the water around me into a tall structure when I shot through the waters surface like a torpedo. I stand on my water tower and feel something in my hands in one is a round shield and the other a rather deadly looking sword both having the look of water and ice. I throw the shield towards Ross he dodges and it shattered into ice shards and disappeared. I shoot what look like water missals towards him. He lifted his hands and the ground rose around him so one agin we were level. I need to make a move so hesitantly I jump off of my platform on to his. My towers falls with a huge crash and water rains down around everyone on the ground. The two of us fight using our weapons in the air.  His was a staff with a vine and rock I get a couple hits on him and he dose the same to me. Then I was a idiot and misjudged a jump hit. He dogged it with great speed. When that happened I was on the edge and lost my footing I fell and grabbed the edge of the structure. Ross runs over and takes my hand while in the process of doing so he loses control of his platform and it starts to crumble and fall. Thinking fast I grab his hand and the two of us teleport to the ground landing with a thud. Both our weapons are gone and we are both shaken up. Before I can even get my bearings Ross  is coming at me. He trips and falls on guess what the ground NO HE FALLS ON ME. He's on top of me we're so close I can see the specs of gold in his brown eyes, the slight freckles on his face ( I don't know if Ross has freckles but he dose in this story), and the warm breath on my face. I can feel my face heating up. It feels like forever and part of me wants to be this close to him. He scrambles to get off of me and helps me up. We both silently walk back to the seating not waiting to be dismissed. Both of us were to embarrassed to go on. I sit by Aph and he sits by Sky.  Well looks like I have a new ship. I shush her feeling very embarrassed by the whole event. Well it looks you have a admirer Riley Lizzie says. I just put my head in my lap as Shelby and Max had to the field.

Sorry this took longer then expected to write. I really wanted to get a chapter out to you. So I decided to make this into two separate chapters. So until next time this is Riley signed off
