To My Cold Betrothed,
I noticed the change in your attitude after you talk with Mary. You become cold, never smiling. This is the time I wished Mary run away with you so you won't be sad and cold. It was like you're a new person, your citizen and family don't know you anymore. They have no clue what happened to you. Everyone is tiptoeing around you. You are like a bomb that anytime will explode.
I wanted to comfort you but you are avoiding me. It hurts but I understand. I won't pressure you since I know how it hurts someone breaks your heart. I will give you time all you want. May God help me to endure every rock in our way and give me the patience to wait until you love me back.
I don't know what miracle happens on the last night of 1549. You talk to me. Yes, we talk like a grown-up adult, ready to face reality. We made a truce that night to make everything work for the sake of both our kingdom. You made it clear that you are not capable of loving me so I don't expect anything from you. You will just do your duties and that's it.
I smiled for the first time. I'm not expecting a lot from you, the fact you're willing to take a step and compromise, it's enough for me. Like I said, I will wait. I will help you heal and you will see I'm the right one for you.
It's perfect ending for this year.
Patiently Waiting,
Elizabeth
