"So, it's your engagement party as well huh?" Jake, one of my friends ask. We are currently standing in the corner of the hall where we can see everything going on in this party while each of us had a glass of whiskey in our hands.

"Yeah. Unbelievable right?" I said and took a sip.

"Who's the unfortunate lady?" He ask.

"Why unfortunate?" Martin ask.

"Well, she's marrying this douche. You know how he is in our university days, I bet he haven't change at all." They all laugh and I just smirk. If only they knew I have a serious relationship going on. "So, who is it?"

"You'll know later on." They all groan. They're real men, but they act like girls with their nosiness. We then talk about Jake and his 'collection' of women as he calls it.

"Dude I tried anal with a girl the other night and it felt so good, but the sound it makes turns me off." We all laugh and I happen to look at the entrance and took a sip of my drink when Anna came in. I look at her from head to toe, she's wearing a red fitted gown and she's slaying it. I thought she was beautiful, but tonight she looks even more breathtakingly beautiful.

"Fuck! Is that Anna Rowthorn?" Martin ask.

"She looks so fucking hot." Jake said, looking at Anna lustfully it ticks me off.

"Shut up Jake or you'll get killed." William said and look at me playfully.

"By who? Does she have a boyfriend? I don't see any guy with her." Jake said, looking at each of Anna's family if there is a unfamiliar man with them.

"She's with someone and he's around here somewhere, he might hear you if you won't be careful." This fucker is teasing me. What does he think I would do? Jake and Martin bombarded William with questions about this 'guy' and I just tuned them out.

I found myself staring at Anna and follow her every move, she seems to really enjoy talking to my sister and I'm actually glad Ella is comfortable with her. Anna stood up all of a sudden and talk to the waiter, after a while the she followed the waiter towards the toilet. I put down the glass on the table and excuse myself.

"Where are you going?" Martin ask.

"I'm just going to say hi to someone."

"Is it Anna? I'll go with you." Jake said. I look at him then to William and then to Jake again. William clear his throat and grab Jake's arms.

"Hey Jake, isn't that Julie who just walk in?" He said, pointing at the Jackson heiress who seems to be looking for someone.

"Fuck! Dude that girl is crazy. She's been stalking me ever since our one night stand." He said and turn his back on her, unfortunately for him, Julie look our way and smile widely.

"She's coming this way man." I said and went towards the toilet, I was almost there when Anna came out, I whistled at her. She frowns and look around until our eyes met.

"Hello Anna. You look so beautiful tonight." I compliment as I stood in front of her and kiss her cheeks.

"Thank you George, you don't look bad yourself." She said, smiling at me sweetly.

"I'm sorry I didn't get to welcome you earlier, me and William were talking to some of our friends and I didn't notice you arrive." I lied. I don't know why, but I did.

"Don'y worry about it, your parents welcome us just fine and I get to chat with your sister." She said happily. The both of us head to the table where our families gather, laughing happily. They're happy because what they want is finally happening without caring about our own feelings and opinions at all and it pisses me off.
