George

It's been a week since the last time me and Anna saw each other. Ever since I got back from Majorca, I've drown myself with work that I even got no time for Margaret at all. She's still did not caught up about my behavior since she's also quite busy herself at the restaurant, but once that dies down, she'll ask me for sure and I wouldn't know what to tell her.

I was pull out of my thoughts when my phone rings, I look at the caller and it's William.

"William, what's up?" I ask.

"Wanna hang out? Haven't seen you in a while." He says.

"Yeah sure, I could get some drinks. I'll see you in a few." I said and hang up. I turn of my computer and stood up. I look at my watch and it's still seven in the evening, still too early to drink, but who cares. I pick up my suit and walk out of my office. As I drive towards the bar, I can't help but think why my life became this difficult. I park my car on the space with my name on it, ask William why I need this VIP treatment. I greeted the bouncer as I pass by them and went upstairs, to one of the VIP rooms where William is waiting. We did our bro hug before I drop down the sofa.

"You seem to be in a bad shape, what's wrong?" He ask, handing me a glass of whiskey.

"I don't know man. I really don't know." I replied before drinking.

"Anna?" I nodded. "What is it this time?"

"We were swimming and I kiss her again. I just don't understand why I'm doing it." I said and rub my forehead.

"That's because you really want to. Be honest with me George, do you have feelings for Anna?" He ask. I look at him just to know if he's really serious and he does look like it. I loosen my tie before drinking another glass of whiskey.

"Maybe, I don't know." I said honestly. "All I know is that she makes me happy, I love spending time with her because she's fun to be with. She puts me on my place when I get out of line, just everything about her is perfect man." I said truthfully and smile particularly at no one as I think of Anna.

"You love her." He stated.

"That can't be, Margaret is the one I love."

"If you love Margaret then why kiss another woman? Why are you here drinking because of another woman? Answer me George." I shook my head and rub my temple. This is giving me a headache.

"Is it possible to love two people at the same time?" I ask.

"No, you always love one of them more than the other and I can tell just by looking at you who it is."

"Who?"

"You know who, but at the moment, you are not ready to admit it." He said and took a sip of his drink. "So, what was Anna's reaction?" He ask.

"She kiss me back just like the first time, but she push me away when it escalated. She then told me we should keep a distance between us and so I haven't seen her in a week now." I stood up and started pacing back and forth.

"Is this why you keep yourself so busy? Since seeing her is not part of your daily routine anymore?" I nodded. "You got it hard man."

We finish a bottle of whiskey before I decided to go home. "Thank you for listening Will." I said and pat his shoulder.

"No problem. If you really miss her that much, you should call her."

"And what am I going to say?"

"You still haven't been to the house you're suppose to live in right? Why not ask her if you can go there." He suggested. I haven't even thought of that, I grin and thank him again. "No problem, later George."
