To start off with:

1) This is going to suck so badly.

2) want it to be overly dramatic. There's something in the future. I already planned everything out. Please bare with me  >.<

3) I'm aware that there are a lot of spelling errors here so just a heads up :3

4) I love that gif of Calum xD

5) REVISED TO 1ST PERSON

Lani

I stood against the wall as I sighed loudly, not minding others in the library that were silently reading. Taking in the scene of the old library, there had been quite a few pepole than usual and a lot more faces. Porbably from school field trips. Everyone was either reading or whisphering conversations here and there. To me, I didn't mind others screaming or brusting out the truths. At least I got good gossip so I could at least put something entertaining on my twitter account.

My boss, Mrs.  Brooke, had been here today, which was quite unusual because she would usually be drunk somewhere in the woods or be making out with strangers. Disgusting. I didn't get how Mrs. Brooke even owned a library. She seemed nice on the outside (as what librarian owners to me look like), but was cruel as fuck in the inside.

I tried to remind myself why she was here; oh yah, her lame job. Although I enjoyed reading books, I didn't enjoy being a librarian. Also, the fact that my boss wouldn't let me take any books home was already tough. I needed books to read over the weekend so I wouldn't be lazy as always. Everyday, I would be walking down the aisle, strolling the cart full of returned books, and would be shelving them in their correct places. But, on a regualr bases, I would be reading all the books in that one section. From Science Fiction to chliderns books. Plus, the fact that there was nobody in this rusty dome of books everyday, gave me the oppurtunity to roam through other facts of the world. Or President Obama being gay (omfg sorry for anyone I offended here xD Just thought it'd be funny), or even how life itself started. I was willing to do anything to get myself off this boring brown wall, which was porbably touched by many pervious librarians.

I looked at the time. 4:35 PM, only 15 more minutes until my shift was over. Another loud sigh escaped my lips as I racked my fingers through my cinnamon-colored hair.

15 more minutes Lani, I reminded myself.

I was more than ready to dash out of here and start watching the whole Mean Girls series since I'd miss  season 1 from studying for college. God, I missed my old teenage life when I could actually have some free time. I thought about how I could be spending my time right now. I could be skydiving and probably risking my life, but it would at least be better than being a librarbian.

"Excuse me," a boy snapped, continuously tapping the counter to get my attention.

I shot up in surprise from my trance of thoughts as I repositioned myself to the regular stance: back straight like a soilder in military and hands folded together neatly infront of me.

"May I help you?" I breathed while swiping away a small piece of hair away from my eyesight nervously. I looked at my boss, she had been watching me intensely. Her eyes pierced into my soul as if to say "Do better next time! No slacking off!"
