I woke up to the sound of a blender, stirring and chopping the items inside. The stirring noise ended and Luke came in, dressed in a black beanie, black new pants, and a black T-shirt. Yup, everything black as usual. He had a cup in his hand filled with a pink looking substance. Strawberry smoothie possibly?
He sipped it, leaving a mustache of the pink liquid, and licked his lips in delight. "Good morning."
I groaned, sitting up, lazily. I felt fresh, but when I smelled my clothes, I reeked of a skunk's fart. I made a disgusting face and trudged into the bathroom without replying to Luke. He knew at these times that I would wake up fresh, but stinky, because when I walked into the bathroom, I saw a neat pile of clothes for me, stacked on the counter. There was a note on top of it that read "You stink ass."
Thank you Luke for pointing that out, I thought in my mind. Friends can be weird, but thy are fun at times.
I stripped off my clothes from yesterday and instantly smelled coffee filling the room. It reminded me of that incident back at Starbucks. Now that I'm thinking of coffee, I had a craving for it.
I turned in the shower, stepping into the warm water that steamed my back. Usually, when I take showers, it would be my time to think about life itself. So I did. I thought about the whole chat with Calum. How he laughed at my attempts at cracking a joke and how he smiled widely whenever I messed up on comments. I wondered about what he said about "I'll see you tomorrow" phrase. When exactly tomorrow? Was I back at that Starbucks place? But whatever and whenever it was, I was up for another day with Calum.
It wasn't a long shower, but it was good enough to make it feel like I slept in heaven. I rubbed my body parts with soap one more time and rinsed again. Stepping out of the shower, I put on the clothes on the counter and put my wet hair in a bun. I looked in the mirror. There, I saw a girl with droopy eyes, slouched shoulders, and clothes that looked like a slut. But I didn't care what others think, well maybe Calum, because they were all caught up in themselves.
I walked out of the bathroom, feeling a little less tense than usual and grabbed my purse with the rest of my books for class. Today, Friday, we had school till 4 PM because of this assembly we had. I hated assemblies because the ones we had would always turn out to be old people talking about things that I never found useful in life. But Luke likes it because it was time for him to "take a little nap," which ended up to be an hour nap. I can't blame him, the assemblies were lame and boring. The last assembly we had was about music. It seemed interesting because the title was called "Hip Hop music." But it ended up being a couple old adults dancing to the song "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." I don't think I've cringed so much in life on that day.
"Let's go!" Luke yelled as I got myself a bottle of water from the fridge.
"What time is it anyway?" I asked, digging in my purse for my phone. I didn't see it anywhere, causing me to have a mini heart attack. But then I remembered that I lost it at Starbucks. My heart still dropped at that thought and I tensed up once again.
"It's 8:10!" Luke practically screamed as we walked down the hallways of the dorm rooms. We had 5 minutes to get to class. Oh for fucks sake why can't one day be normal?
"Oh fuck," I mutter under my breathe as both Luke and I ran down the hallways, bursting through the doors, and running outside toward the school. The bell ran before we could appear a the front of the school and Luke and I separated for our classes. It was already going to go horrible for me.
