"Sooo... yeah, I found this on that planet." Spinel finished as she summarized her tale to the Diamonds.

"You went where?!?!!" White Diamond questioned in a frenzy of slight anger and fear.

"Uh. I went to a planet with Gem writing, crude technology, orange shards, I don't know the name." Spinel answered.

"Do you seriously mean Epsilon 001?" she asked.

"How should I know," Spinel responded, "There wasn't anything concerning names on that planet."

"Just show me the device you found." White said, holding her head in exasperation.

"Suit yourself." Spinel said, extending her arms upward to White to take the device.

"I can barely read this, it's so small!"

"Well, its pretty much incomprehensible, so why bother." Spinel added.

"White, doesn't Steven have that one scholarly gem with him now?" Blue said, "Why don't we ask him?"

"If he does, just tell Steven that they should bring him to Homeworld along with Steven on his next visit." Yellow stated, propped up with her hand as she leaned to the side.

"Yellow, Blue, you're both right, open a video chat with Steven this instant." White said.

After explaining their recent finding to Steven and requesting that he bring the scholarly gem, Steven arrived an hour later.

"Hey everyone, this is the Gem you requested, his name is Jeremejevite."

Upon looking at Jeremejevite, you would notice something about him. While he had the skin color difference, a pale blue, this is a common thing in most gems. He was not dressed in the robes of a scholar, but instead wearing a scarf, a sky blue short-sleeved jacket, and underneath was a white and black striped shirt. He was wearing blue jeans, and his hair was a blue gradient with yellow highlights on the tips. He was also wearing blue limb enhancers on both of his feet, and on his left hand he also wore one, with yellow digits, on his right hand was a black finger-less glove. Covering his eyes was a visor, very different from one like Peridot's. It covered his viewing range and had a black screen in the middle of it. While one could not see his eyes, electric projections of two circles were likely where his eyes would be on his face. the visor was strapped on by some circles that were held together like a frame, like headphones, connected to the visor. The visors projections could change, making new shapes or made certain expressions more noticeable. However, his most prominent feature about him was he had taken a male form and adapted a male personality and behaviors.

"For the last time, Steven, my name is Jeremy-" Jeremejevite commented, but abruptly stopped upon looking upwards towards the Diamonds and Spinel.

Jeremejevite looked desperately to Steven for an explanation, and promptly stiffened up and regained composure, "Hello, my Diamonds," proceeding to bow and salute them, his visor projecting an image of the Diamond Authority's insignia, "Steven said my presence was needed here, but I was not expecting to meet you on this present day."

He then realized that his form was more masculine then what the Diamonds would probably would have liked him to be, so while he internally panicked and screamed, his the two circles on the visor shrunk increasingly.

(Authors note: Yes, this means that Jeremejevite is very readable and you can tell what he is going to say, you don't need a Sapphire for it.)

"Uh, this form is a bit... unusual for this society, I can change back if you like..."

"No, don't. I'm glad to meet you." White Diamond replied, "We have a favor to ask you, you can read the Old Gem language, correct?"

"Yes I can, my Diamond."

"Can you read this?" she said, passing the device to Jeremejevite.

"Well, um, its awfully crude, let me find the switch- Ah yes, there we go." The bottom part unfolded, and an orange hologram flickered out from it, acting very static and freezing up every so often.

"So I can make out the dialog for the most part, the characters are very... unusual... but it appears to be similar to a diary entry, written from mainly one character, telling a story."

"Tell us, read it to us." White insisted.

"I got time, let me message the gems to see if they are interested." Steven interrupted, as White gave a irritated sigh.

Fifteen minutes later, the main Crystal Gem body were seated, and the Diamonds waiting on their thrones, and Spinel and Pink Pearl watching as Jeremejevite began to narrate, as it was titled, The Tale Of The Ambers.
