"As we continued to stare, Ambrosia piped up...

"Oh! Lets take them to camp! The others will be so surprised!"

Others? There are more of them? I was startled by this revelation, but I stood up, nodded, and continued on my way. That is until Aamber grabbed me.

"Can you speak?" they asked, "Course you can't, haven't had any practice."

"Oh, you're right, how insensitive of me, one second..." the other one said.

She touched her hand to my gemstone, and her eyes turned blue with white characters running through them. New thoughts entered my mind. So many, understanding the words they said fully, how to speak. She then pulled her hand away.

I stuttered. It was obvious, I did for a few minutes, but talking later got easier, the first words I said were, "Thank you."

"Well, how splendid!" the first one said, "Do you have a name or a thing to call you by?"

"A...a...am...ber. Amber." I stuttered.

"Pleasure to meet you!" they beamed, "I'm... well, I don't really have a name, I'm just One and the other ones Two."

"Nice to meet you, One, but I've been calling you... Ambrosia... in my head." I said, immediately feeling my face flush.

"Ambrosia, that's a pretty name, I like it. I guess I'm Ambrosia." she replied. "Any names for him?"

"Him? I thought his name was Two?"

Ambrosia burst out laughing. "No, no, we just use the word him because its simpler than saying 'Two's lost his club again. Two's so clumsy. Two, Two, Two!'

"Hey! I'm sorry if I lose my club, but its hard to see with one eye!" he reacted, playfully pushing Ambrosia, who began to laugh harder.

"So, yeah... any titles for me? Sorry about One, I mean Ambrosia, she's the good twin out of us."

Twin? "Well, yeah, I've been calling you Aamber. But what do you mean by twin?"

"That works," he shrugged, pulling Ambrosia up, who was recovering from her laughing fit.

"Ambrosia and I emerged not to far from each other, we've been stuck together, and called ourselves twins. C'mon, we gotta head back to camp."

Unsure of what the camp was, but happy that there were others like me, I perused them.
