Ji Eun

It's been two years since the day I met my aunt Sun Hee.

Eventually, I remembered everything about her. She's my dad's sister and she took care of me when mom was was at work.

And now, she passed the coffee shop to me because technically, I inherited the coffee shop from my father. I'm quite overwhelmed about the fact that I now own a coffee shop but then again, I'm glad that my aunt still supported me and a little bit thankful to my dad about giving me the permission to run the coffee shop. But of course, I still hate my damn father. Why would I forgive him when he started this whole trouble. He left my mom and me alone just because he wanted to be with another woman. A father like him shouldn't be a father in the first place when he can't even be with his family until the end.

Aish, that's why I hate the idea of love. Why love a person when it's just a waste of time. They'll just leave anyway.

And would I find my dad?

Heck, no. There's no way I'm doing that. I'll be better off without him. I've had enough problems in my life, I won't let that man bother my life again.

"Ji Eun? Ji Eun-ah!?" I was snapped out of my trance when my bestfriend, Lee Eunsoo called my name. Other than being my bestfriend, she was a part-time worker in the cafè and we both study in the same university.

"Why?" I aksed. "Is there any new costumer? What?" I looked around but there was none. There were only a few people here and there, each sipping on the coffee that they ordered.

"Yah! Are you daydreaming again? Ji Eun, we still have to do our assignments and you still have your music project! Are you just going to sit there and do nothing?" She complained and frowned at me as she grabbed her notebook and started writing.

When she noticed I was still in a daze, she flicked my forehead and I yelled at her,

"Yah! That hurts!" She ignored you and went back to writing while I opened my laptop and started my music project.

When I met my aunt Sun Hee, she enrolled me in a university in Seoul. Because I really loved music, I took music class and now I'm currently a 3rd year college student. And since the education system in Canada and Korea aren't the same, I've had some slight troubles adjusting with it.
