Hyeonjun was the one who always defended her everytime their mother would scold Ji Eun. Though he was still a little boy that time, he stood up for her, not caring about what would his mother's reaction would be. They may not have the same father but still, they shared a profound connection. They share the same blood, the same mother and although they were born with different nationalities, Hyeonjun and Ji Eun defended each other, took care of each other and loved each other as if they weren't half siblings. Ji Eun took care of Hyeonjun when he was sick and when their mother was busy, Hyeonjun gave his love to Ji Eun when their mother couldn't.

Ji Eun always wanted to have a perfect family, well at least a happy one where she could share her pain and suffering, where she could say anything to them without getting scolded or judged. She wanted to feel a familial warmth, the love and joys of a complete and harmonious family. And now, she had Hyeonjun, Yoongi and Bangtan. They became her family, maybe not by blood but by heart.

As she stood by the sidewalk, facing the only brother she had, she felt a sense of guilt mixed with relief. Guilt because she left him when he wanted her to stay and relief because she finally found him here in Seoul. She always wanted Hyeonjun to visit her home country but sadly, her mother didn't want him to. And now that he was here, she felt happy.

But seeing Hyeonjun like this, a teenage boy crying like a little lost kid in the streets made her confused and worried. She was worried because although Hyeonjun was a big boy now, she knew that he didn't want to be left alone. She knew that Hyeonjun was a family oriented kid and that he would always worry if he got lost in a big city like Seoul. He was already 12 years old yet his inner child was obviously more prominent than other kids.

She took a step forward and pulled the kid into a tight embrace, feeling the warmth of her little brother that she missed for almost a year. There were no words said. Just the fact that they were together was enough for them to know that they were safe and loved. They were okay.

Yoongi was just standing by the car, leaning his back on it and crossing his arms as he watched the special moment between the siblings. Watching them, he wished that Yoonseo was still here beside him, she would have been the same age as Hyeonjun if she was still alive. He missed her. He also missed his older brother who left their family, the only sibling that was left to him. He wanted his hyung to come back but it was just wishful thinking.
