The sweet aroma of coffee that Ji Eun just brewed wafted throughout the peaceful coffee shop where students, couples and families were talking warmly to each other as they smiled. It gave a happy and nostalgic vibe, something Ji Eun really liked. As she stared at these people while she sat near the counter, a sweet memory came rushing in and she suddenly mumbled as she went in a trance.
"Oh dad. I wish you were here beside me. We could've made the cafè bigger. I really miss you dad."
After Sheena's death, Ji Eun's dad went abroad to relax. It has been a very difficult series of event for him to face and he just wanted to just rest and clear his mind. He really missed Ji Eun as much as she missed him and he wanted to comfort his daughter especially after Ji Eun and Yoongi's breakup. However, as much as he wanted to go back and take care of her, Ji Eun was sk stubborn about his decision. She just wanted him to take a rest by saying she was fine. Well, what can he do? He needs to listen to her or else he'll get a scolding from his daughter.
Ji Eun laughed at the thought of her father frowning at her when they argued but then she was snapped out of her trance when her phone suddenly rang.
She decided to answer it and put the phone near her ear. Then a sweet familiar voice filled her ears.
"Jin? What's the matter?" She asked.
Clearing his throat, Jin answered. "Actually, I just wanted to talk to you about something."
She furrowed her brows. "What is it?"
"I don't know how to tell you this but I hope you wouldn't get mad at me for this."
She chuckled at the sudden memory that suddenly popped up in her head.
Jin and Ji Eun gotten closer that day she cried so much in her room while watching the live concert.
Apparently, that day was actually Ji Eun's birthday but since she was too busy crying over Yoongi, she eventually forgot about it. While she cried and cried until she passed out, Jin suddenly appeared by her doorway and was worried about her unconscious state. He remained by her side until she woke up.
