Back then, I promised myself that I would never fall for anyone because I know that love would just hurt me and I'll experience my past all over again. But when I saw Yoongi, I broke my promise. I fell-in-love with him thinking that he would love me back too. But it seems all of that is nothing more than wishful thinking. He would never feel like that for me. He was just acting like that because I'm the total copy of his ex-girlfriend, Sheena. He just wants to date me because I look like his past lover. He wants me to try because he wants to get his past back which obviously he can't have. He wants me to pretend that I'm Sheena, that I'm his past.
Last night, I accidentally eavesdropped on Yoongi and Jimin talking to each other in the kitchen. I just wanted to get a glass of water but I heard their conversation unexpectedly .
"Jimin, I can't forget Sheena when she's around but when I try to avoid her, I-I just can't. I keep missing her." Yoongi confessed.
"Hyung, Ji Eun's not her. Why don't you just think of her as another person instead of pretending that she's the same with Sheena?" Jimin chided.
"I do try to think that she's better than her, that she's different from Sheena but everytime I lay my eyes on her...I can't think of anything but her." Yoongi said.
"Is that why you asked her out? Is that why you led her on?!!" Jimin yelled. "Did you ever think about what she would feel? You don't fully understand Ji Eun!! Do you know how her heart broke just because of her parents?! Do you think she wouldn't get hurt if she found out that you're just using her for your own sake?!"
Silence...
Jimin sighed. "Hyung, if you truly want Sheena back, don't drag Ji Eun into this. Ji Eun is just Ji Eun, she's not yours to play with."
That conversation struck me like an arrow. It left a hole in my heart, the one that wouldn't heal. It's much more worse than my past.
