Chapter 1

9 years later

"Do I have to go?" I ask my mother,

"Yes, It's your first day back at school!" She exclaimed, "You need to go!"

"Ugh, fine," I gave in as I got out of bed and started to change into my uniform, pretty sad I have to go to a preppy school with a uniform but I mean it's not that bad, a pretty cool place from what I've heard.

"LUCA HURRY UP!" My mum yelled at me,

"Coming!" I screamed back.

"Took you long enough," she said, my mum was only 15 when I was born. She and my father mated for the first time and unfortunately, that's how I was born, I say she should've waited a bit because she was too young to have mates but then she'd say she wouldn't have ended up with me in the end, and my father, well, he died when I was really young so I don't remember him that well.

"We're almost there!~" she sang, I also forgot to mention that she's the new principal here after the last one died, that is also why we moved from our old town, well it's not the first town we lived in, I moved away from the first town I lived in when I was 10, I had to sadly leave my best friend behind too since he couldn't come with me. I sadly don't remember the name of the town but I hope I get to see him again.

"Okay come on get out slowpoke." My mother chuckled at me, "Jeez alright calm down!" I said back while climbing out of the car to look at the building, and holy hell was this place huge- but then something else caught my eye, a huge willow tree to the side of the building where you could barely see it from where I Was, I should go visit there at lunch or after school, I'll probably just walk home or something.

I make it to my first class, history and god will never know how much I love history. "Good evening you must be Mr Belle, right?" my history teacher said known as Mrs Green. "Yep, that's me." I said in response, "Okay then go take a seat," wow no introduction thank god. I go take a seat in the back of the class and take out a sketchbook to take notes and sketch some random things in there.

Fast forward to lunch I go outside the school and I go around one of the buildings on the school grounds and I find a willow tree, I breathe in the smell of it and hoist myself up the tree to sit on one of the branches, I get lost in my thoughts and I fall asleep.

I'm woken by a rustling noise and I look down to see a platinum blonde boy sitting at the bottom of the tree reading a book, "What ya reading?" I groggily say and the blonde boy jumps up and looks around "W-Who's there?!" he cried out. "I'm not gonna hurt you-" but I'm interrupted by a scent of Strawberries and lavender and a voice inside my head that keep repeating the words,

'Mate'
