Lucas' POV
We were getting closer and closer to my mate's location, I knew we were because I could smell his beautiful honey lavender scent,
It took us about a week to get to my mate's location but as soon as we got there we heard laughter and then someone say "Karma's a bitch".
and then my pack went ravage on all the wolves that were trying to keep my mate for their 'Leader'.
I made my way through wolves one by one until I was the other side of the door that presumably was the room my mate was on.
I kicked down the door and inside was my ex-girlfriend and my mate.
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING TO MY MATE?" I screamed at her.
She looked shocked and dropped the whip she was whipping my mate with,
"L-Lucas-"
"SHUT UP!" I yelled at her and I charged at her, she put up a fight for a few minutes before some of my wolves came charging through and took her on for me.
Ripping her limbs off,
Piece,
By,
Piece.
Once they dealt with her I carefully made my way over to my mate and I carefully undid his restraints and he basically flopped into my arms.
I whimpered as he laid limp in my arms and I shifted into my wolf and I made sure he was on my back and wouldn't fall off.
I made my way down the tall tower and out into the huge field that was now a big fighting ground.
I looked over all the dead bodies of mostly rogues but some of my wolves.
I sighed sadly at the sight of my wolves but I stepped over them carefully until I was on the other side of the field.
Once I was about to go into the forest I called out to my wolves and told them to start to head back to the pack.
Once most of my wolves were heading back I started to trot into the woods and towards our territory.
We encountered a few lone rogues in the woods but they left us alone, I'm not entirely sure why because they'd probably growl or something but they didn't do anything,
They'd just sniff and then back away slowly.
My mate would stir while he was passed out but he wouldn't wake up.
I whined when we were almost back at our territory because even though I'm in wolf form my mate is still heavy, I should've been able to carry him easily which was suspicious.
Once we got into the packhouse I got my pack healer to take my mate and any other injured wolves to the hospital in the packhouse.
