Charlie takes a peek from behind the curtain.

Hanks says impatiently, "Come on. I don't have all day long. Show it to me."

She walks out from behind the curtain. Nessie's riding outfits is made from best material. It really suits Charlie as if it's custom made for her.

Hanks asks, "How do you feel?"

"I love it. It's like wearing Pantaloon. But it's also a dress. Nobody would mock me now."

He smiles to her. And for a minute, she forgets to breath.

Hanks rarely smiles. He looks very handsome when he smiles. His moody face also has its own charm.

He asks, "Shall I call a tailor and make few more dresses like this one for you?"

"Okay. If the money was enough..."

Hanks asks, "What money?"

"James didn't leave you much money, did he? He was always unlucky in gambling..."

"Don't worry about it."

Hanks is walking out of her room. They have left the door open for courtesy. He suddenly halts. Charlie has followed him from behind. She bumps to him when he suddenly stops walking.

He turns around and then he says, "Dance lesson shall be next."

"I don't need it."

He asks, "Why?"

"Dances, dresses. You are trying to marry me off with someone, aren't you? Well, no man would want a ruined girl like me."

She's still young and yet so pessimistic. If only I could kill that man...

Hanks lifts her chin so she would look into his eyes.

He says honestly, "Some men would want a virgin wife. Others would prefer widows, more experienced ones. In my opinion, you should only marry someone who really cares for you. And I will find that man for you. Not to worry."

He releases her when she blushes. This is getting to feel awkward for both of them.

Hanks is going to leave when she says, "Okay. I will learn to dance if you'd dance with me."

He asks, "Seriously? My leg..."

"It hasn't stopped you from fencing. It won't stop you from dancing."

Hanks sighs. He knows defeat when he sees one.

He says, "Fine. Don't torture my leg too much. Not fast paces dances."

"Agree."

Hanks is leaving when she suddenly asks, "Why are you helping me?"

"The world doesn't like you. An outcast just like me."
