Charlie got awakened in the middle of the night. Someone is in her bedroom right now.
A gun is pointed to her head. The man has a mask on his face. Another man is tying her up and then he wraps her with a blanket.

Her mouth is gagged. Charlie got carried into a carriage in the backyard.
Hank's stepmother says, "It's about time you leave this place. Safe trip. And don't ever come back."
Charlie's monkey is screaming when it's trying to fight her attackers. Sean bites a man so he hits it with the back of his gun. He tosses the unconscious monkey into the carriage too.
Hanks stepmother pays the men for their services.
She orders, "Take her to the cross road to Gretna Green. The Colonel would take it from there."
"Yes, Ma'am. Nice doing business with you."
She smiles to the house behind her.
Tomorrow is a new day. No other Lady would be trying to attract Hank's attention anymore. He would be hers once more.

Hanks takes a peek into the library. Nope. She isn't here either. He hasn't seen Charlie for half day now.
His stepmother is standing behind him.
She teases, "Who are you looking for, Hanks? Are you looking for me?"
He chooses to walk away. Maybe Charlie has taken a walk somewhere.
"If you're looking for her, she's getting married."
Her words got his attention immediately.
Hanks chokes her neck and asks, "Where?"
She is having difficulty to breath so he releases the tension a little.
"Where? I would hurt you if you kept quiet!"
"Gretna..."
She is coughing after he releases her neck.
Hanks barks orders to the servants, "Prepare my horse, Thunder! Some foods and drink!"
His stepmother yells, "She's just a burden to you!"
"I'll deal with you later," says him coldly.
She shudders out of fright. Hanks looks he could murder her any minute now.
Hanks climbs up his horse. Then he orders a man to tie his wooden peg leg to the saddle. This way he won't fall down from his horse when things got rough.
Charlie, be safe. I'm coming for you.
He gallops his horse to the North.

The Colonel is sitting next to her in the same carriage. Charlie has been released from her bind. She is hugging Sean, her monkey right now.
She asks, "Where are you taking me?"
"Gretna Green. We would get married."
She says, "I don't want to marry you."
"You would have your own home, Charlie. We would get along so well. I just know it."
Charlie closes her eyes.
If I really got married, I want to marry...
The image of Hanks smiling to her flashes in her mind.
I miss him already. Hanks, I think I'm in love with you. The grumpy guy. He always looks moody as if someone stole his favorite toy.
She keeps quiet so the Colonel decides she has accepted her fate.
