If there was one thing Ashton hated, it was being treated like a baby.

His friends and family liked to pinch his cheeks and coo at him because he was apparently, "soooo cute!!!".

But the worst, the absolute worst, was when they called him the dreaded...cutie pie Irwin.

He hated that nickname so much, it always made him feel like a little girl. So naturally, his family always called him that.

He had hoped that moving to Ocean Bay would make it stop, that they would all have a fresh new start, but apparently not.

"We're here cutie pie Irwin!" His mom trilled happily, climbing out of the car.

Ashton let it slide since he was in awe of their new house.

"I can sleep on the roof right mom?!" Lauren was asking excitedly. "I call the roof!"

"Of course you can have the roof." Mrs. Irwin said.

"Yes!" She ran into the house happily.

Ashton followed her and took in the big new place they would be living in.

"I wanna room with Ashton!" Harry yelled, running up to Ashton and grabbing his hand.

"But theres like five bedrooms you can choose from!" Ashton protested.

"Cutie pie Irwin." Mrs. Irwin glared. "Let him room with you."

"What?!" Ashton cried as Harry danced around happily. "So Lauren gets to sleep on the roof but I can't have my own room?"

"Those are the rules and you know it." Mrs. Irwin said, walking to the new kitchen.

"Since when did we establish those rules?" Ashton said grumpily.

"Since I birthed you. I am your birthgiver and you shall call me as such from here on out."

Ashton pulled a face. "Gross. No."

"Cutie pie Irwin, that is not what you say to your birthgiver!" Lauren teased as she came into the room.

"She's your birthgiver too!" Ashton yelled.

"Actually she was adopted." Mrs. Irwin said. "Shh."

Lauren stopped laughing. "What do you mean I'm adopted?!"

"I'm going for a walk." Ashton rolled his eyes. "I need a break from you guys."

He quickly ran out the door as his sister started yelling.

He plugged in his headphones and played his music as he walked.

He didn't know where he was going, but anywhere was better than his house.

He got lost in thought as he walked. He didn't know where he was since he wasn't paying attention, but he was sure he could find his way back.

Suddenly something hard struck the side of his head and he gasped as he fell to the sidewalk.

His headphones fell out and he heard footsteps running up to him.

"Oh my God, are you okay?" Someone yelled.

Ashton looked up and saw three boys running up to him.

A football rolled down the street and the black haired boy ran after it.

The tallest boy reached a hand down and helped Ashton stand. "Sorry about that, Michael is a terrible kicker."

"Fyi, I didn't want to play this stupid game in the first place." The red haired boy, Michael, snapped. "I vote we just blame Calum."
