The next morning, we all got dressed and made our way to school. We left a few hours before we had to. I asked Ethan to compel the school staff. Since we didn't have any of the required information we needed for Zola to go to school, he compelled the school staff and principles. He made them think, and see all of her required information. It was a long process, but now Zola is able to go to school. He also made it where he could come visit me during school anytime he wanted to, no questions asked. He was still considered a newly vampire, and didn't want to jump back into the whole school thing right away. I was so excited to be back at school. I was also a little nervous as well, because this would be my last year of school. I couldn't wait to be able to see Noah and Aria. I haven't gotten to see them since Ileft for Paris. Zola ended up only being in first period with me, I was hoping she would've been able to be in all or at least half, so she had at least one person she knew, but either way. Ethan grabbed my hand and walked me up to my new locker. My locker was upstairs this year. When we approached my new locker, Elijah was at the locker beside mine, stuffing books into his bag.

"What are you doing here?" I asked a little annoyed. He didn't even look at me. He just kept stuffing books into his bag, but now he was more angry about it.

"I'm finishing my last year of school, just like everyone else." he said, very frustrating.

"Well you don't have to be here this year, the mate bond is broken between us. Besides I thought you had a pack to run?" I reminded him. He suddenly slams his locker shut, and turns his attention towards me.

"You know, not everything revolves around you Zoey. Most of my pack is at this school, and the very few who aren't can handle things on their own for a few hours a day." He said angrily. Ethan stepped out from behind me, placing himself between me and Elijah.

"Don't be getting rude with my girlfriend." Ethan demanded, poking his chest out just a little, trying to look more intimidating.

"Yeah, what's your problem?" I asked, interrupting the angry filled glares that was bouncing off between the two of them. Elijah turned his anger back towards me.

"What's my problem? You. Your my problem. Having you in my pack, around me every second of the day is killing me. I can't handle it anymore." he said loudly speaking through his teeth, as if he were trying to keep his voice as low as he could, but also yell at us at the same time. I was shocked by his response. I knew I couldn't avoid talking to him anymore, things were starting to get out of hand. I stepped forward a little, and opened my mouth to speak, but before I could manage a word Ethan let out a low deep growl from within his chest. That only seemed to make Elijah more angry. His eyes turned White. I quietly gasped, a little shocked. I was afraid they were about to start fighting in the middle of school, and expose us all. Elijah noticed my gasp and realized he was getting to upset, so he let out a frustrating growl as he forced him self to walk away. He turned around punched the locker and then stormed off. Ethan quickly went over to the locker and straighten out the dents before anyone was able to see the damage, then he turned his attention back towards me.

"Are you okay?" he asked, concerningly.

"No, I don't know why he's acting like such a jerk to me. I haven't done anything to him." I said, a little up set by what just happened. When I said I wasn't okay, Ethan clinched his jaw tightly in anger.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of him." He said reassuringly. I knew what he meant by that comment, and a part of me was terrified that he could jump to something like so easily.

"No. I'm going to give him a piece of my mind later today, and I'm thinking afterwards we might leave the pack. It will be just you and me." I said, informing me of my new plan. That seemed to calm him down instantly. His jaw relaxed and a smile sprouted across his face.
