I slowly woke up and regained my consciousness. I looked around to see a white room with bright lights, lab tables, and cages scattered across the room. The moment when all the blurriness and grogginess cleared away I tried to make a run for it, but I quickly realized I was chained to the wall. My clothing had been changed into a gray sports brawl and matching underwear. My feet and hands were both shackled to the wall and what made it worse was the chains were soaked in wolfsbane. Every tiny movement I made, the wolfsbane burned against my skin, blistering it instantly. I looked over to see Elijah, unconsciously chained to the wall right beside me. Elijah's clothes had also been changed into a pair of gray boxers.

"Elijah. Elijah wake up." I said. He crinkled his nose as he tried to wake up. He opened his eyes and looked around. Once the grogginess wore off, he started freaking out trying to break free from his chains, and tried to fight against the pain. "Elijah." I said. He didn't listen. "Elijah stop fighting against this. It's no use." I said as I hung my head. He looked down at the ground and calmed down once he realized I'd given up.

"Zoey I promise I'll get us out of here." He said softly. I didn't believe him, but I felt terrible that he was giving up too. I took a deep breath.

"Don't make promises you can't keep. The rest of the pack is safe, we just have to find the strength to survive this place. Don't give up no matter what." I told him in the most confident tone I could, hoping that was enough to motivate him.

"Okay, I guess your right. We need to unblock our wolves. We won't be able to escape at all with out them." He said. I nodded my head in agreement. We both closed our eyes tightly and unblocked our wolves. They were confused at first, then they were just as scared as we were. I knew he didn't want to fight, neither of us had the emotional capacity to have a fiery fighting spirit in us at the moment. We knew we had to find a way to force our selves to remain strong so when we found the perfect opportunity to escape, we would be able to. The door opened and a middle aged man walked through wearing a white lab coat and holding a clip board. He had black hair with white steaks scattered throughout his hair. His eyes were tired looking and had a greenish gray tent to them. His skin was slightly tanned, and had a few wrinkles here and there.

"Who are you?" Elijah asked him.

"Where are we?" I asked, immediately following Elijah's previous questions.

"I'm Albert Fersby and your in my basement." He explained. I looked at him questionably. I could've sworn I've heard that last name before. It took me a minute to realize where I've heard it before.

"Fersby? By any chance are you related to Jeremiah Fersby?" I asked unsure.

"Yes he's my son. He's been acting weird for a while so I started following him without his acknowledgement and I found an amazing discovery. He discovered werewolves, but he's wasting his findings on a stupid movie idea that'll never take off. He's never been wanted to be a true scientist like myself. Oh well, his lost is my gain." He informed us.

"Oh no. This is all my fault." Elijah whispered to himself. He became angry with the fact that he was the cause to all this. "What do you want from us?" He angrily asked.

"What any other scientist would want from you two...... to study the two of you until I know every possible thing I can learn from you two and then get rich and famous when I expose my studies to the world." He said with an excited smile.

"You won't get away with this. We will find a way out of here and we will come after you when we escape." I said.

"Fortunately for me, You two won't be able to escape. See I didn't get to study you guys long before I got the chance to capture you, but I did find out from my son's notes that your allergic to wolfsbane...... So I soaked your chains in it and I also put it in the air vents. Your not only contained by it but your also breathing it in as well. You two will help me get discovered as a real scientist. Unfortunately if I had know you were pregnant, I would've found a safer way to capture you." He said looking in my direction. My heart sank when I heard those words.
