"What? Ryan has a son?" I confusingly asked trying to make sense of all this. "I didn't know he had a kid." I added.

"Yeah well no one knows about my exitance. I'm a prisoner in my own home." He said.

"Are you a -"

"Hybrid like him? Yes, yes I am. I'm a 135 year old hybrid and I've never seen another person outside this house before." he answered, interrupting me.

"How's this possible?" I asked, still unsure how no one knew that Ryan had a kid for 135 years. He looks at the door and becomes silent.

"Look I'll come back later and I'll answer all your questions. Anything you want to know I'll answer. I have to go now, he's coming. Oh and if you ever want the possibility of escaping, you won't mention you seen me here." He stated. I tried to ask when he would be back, but he had sped over to the window and crawled out before I could even utter a word. Ryan opened the door moments later and walked in. He shut the door behind him and walked over to me. He sat down on the bed beside me and stared at me for a moment or two before speaking.

"Looks like you've healed up nicely...... I was starting to think I showed up to late." He said, tucking my hair behind my ear. I cringed at the touch of his fingers brushing against my face. I quickly stood up.

"Would you stop touching me like that?" I snapped.

"Like what?" He asked in a dumbfounded way.

"Like you care for me." I replied.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable." He said softly. I couldn't believe this guy. One minute he's a complete monster and the next he's a caring and compassionate person. It's like he's two different people in one body.

"Can you just tell me why I'm here?" I asked trying to focus the conversation in another direction.

"I brought you here to make sure your okay. You almost died because He had wolfsbane in the vents. You were breathing it in, which was slowly killing you. You've been here for 3 days, and have been unconscious until today." He explained.

"How did you know where to find me?"

"I have my ways." he said with a sly smile. I hated it when he did that. My mind suddenly drifted to Elijah. I was so caught off guard with the whole secret child of Ryan's that I completely forgot about him.

"Where's Elijah?" I asked in a panicked manner. I was so scared that Ryan just left him there to die.

"Don't worry, he's safe."

"I want to see him." I demanded.

"I never said he was here."

"Then how do I know if he's really safe or not?"

"Your just going to have to trust me."

"Trust you? You expect me to trust you when you've killed multiple pack members?" I said. I was a little shocked and angry at the same time. Shocked that he would even think it was possible for me or anyone to trust him, and angry that he's actually expecting me to take his word that he saved someone who he hates.

"Why didn't you just let him finish us off, it would've been two less pack members you would have to worry about?" I asked, a little curious as to why he really saved us.

"If anyone is going to lay a finger on that pack, it's going to be me." He informed me.

"So you only saved us so you could get the joy of killing us yourselves?" I asked unsure if I understood him correctly. He smiled slightly amused. I guess I did understand him correctly. I took a deep breath. "Well thanks for saving me and supposedly Elijah, but I'm all healed up and I'm okay now, So if you'll excuse me...... I'll be going home now." I said. I started to walk to the door, but he sped in front of me before I could reach the door, blocking my path.
