ELIJAH'S P.O.V :
I wanted so badly to go after her after and make her come to her senses, but I knew Zoey and I knew how she would react to me doing so. If I tried to stop her, she would only do something even more wreckless while I wasn't looking. The only reason I could come up with as to why she has suddenly become so obsessed with trying to find a way to stop Ryan's reign of terror, was something happened between her and Ethan again and she is lashing out at anything she can to take her mind off of things. So I decided I was going to go talk to him and find out what's going on with the two of them. After a while of searching for him, I finally found him in Elsa's room playing a board game with her.

"Ethan what's going on with you and Zoey?" I Demanded. I wanted to get straight to the point.

"Ummm we are taking a break so we can work through our problems and hopefully be able to get back together." He said in an unsure tone. "But I don't see where that's any of your concern." He added, a little irritated.

"Because she's suddenly so obsessed with finding out why Ryan is upset with us and how to end him."

"Good, it's about time someone wants to do it." Elsa said, putting her unwanted input into the conversation.

"Yeah but she can't do it by herself." I said, hoping to get them back on my side about Zoey.

"Well did you tell her you would do it or at least help her since your the alpha and technically it's your job and not hers?" Ethan asked. I was starting to become frustrated with these two.

"No." I said as calmly as I could

"Well there you go." Ethan said with a shrug.

"Seriously, your just going to sit back and watch her get herself killed?" I asked raising my voice.

"Of course not, but come on Elijah, we're talking about Zoey here. She is very stubborn and she's going to do what she wants, and when she wants to do it, even if it gets herself killed. The most we can do is when she comes back, help her so she doesn't end up doing something that will get herself killed."

"Yeah I mean she practically told me I didn't have the guts to kill her while I was in lycan form. I don't think going up against Ryan alone is going to scare her anymore than I did." Elsa added.

"Besides if anyone can approach Ryan without being hurt in any way, it's going to be her." Ethan stated. It was so frustrating as to how they could be so calm about something like this.

"How so?" I asked through my teeth, trying my hardest to not snap at them. Ethan took a deep breath before replying.

"Well if you haven't noticed, when Ryan was holding her up by the throat....... She wasn't struggling to breathe or to get free from is grasp. She didn't look terrified that he was about to choke her to death or snap her neck. She looked confused. That's because he wasn't even hurting her, he just wanted to make it look like he was hurting her so when we made a wrong move, he could kill us. Plus each time he shows up he's always so smitten with her and trying to offer her freedom from being a werewolf. I've asked a few witches I know and they said he had to go search for a very powerful witch and offer her something she couldn't refuse in order for her agreement in helping him get rid of someone's werewolf gene. He clearly has a thing for her...... not that I can blame him on that part, but none the less she's fine. You really shouldn't worry about her to much." Ethan explained. I couldn't believe what they were saying, but as I stood there for a moment and let the words really sink in my head....... I realized that they were right in a way and I can't believe I've never noticed it before. Now my only concern was to find Zoey before she ended up doing something she would regret. I needed to let her know that I will stand by her side no matter what. I ran out the room and didn't stop until I reached the front porch. I took my clothes off and shifted into my wolf form. I searched every inch of the woods over the course of Two hours. I could feel my wolf getting exhausted from the non stop running, so I decided to come back to the pack house. I shifted into my human form and quickly threw my clothes back on. I busted through the front door, running into the living room. I was freaking out because I couldn't find Zoey anywhere. The worst of the worst fears were running through my mind. I felt like I was about to start having a panic attack. I could barely breathe. My heart was racing.
