At least his legs better. Right now everyone's watching as Hunter shows the kids and Percy how to use a bow and arrow. If anyone can teach percy, it's Hunter. Hunter's form is exceptional, his aim spot on, how much tension he puts on the string makes me look like a newbie. To be honest, Hunter's the one who taught me how to use the weapon. When I see his eyes I know he's going to make a perfect shot and I was right. When Hunter released the string the arrow flew through the 3 targets, bullseye, and lodges it's self in the stone wall. Everyone in the room looks at him amazed.

"Now you try. No one expects you to be anywhere near that level. If you hit the first target anywhere you should be proud." Hunter tells the group that he's teaching. They all get into a similar position as him and pull back their strings. Hunter points a hand towards us and a shimmer passes me. I reach out and touch a force field. We all turn our attention back to the archers. The kids release their strings. The girls arrow lodges it's self in the 2nd ring from the middle and the boys hits one ring farther from the middle. Then percy releases his and it actually hits the target. No wear near the middle, but the target none the less.

"How-- what?" Thalia asks.

"Very good. Michelle, you can take a break if you want." Hunter offers the girl in titan then turns to percy. "Good job. You managed not to shoot me this time."

"Thanks." Percy says obviously happy that he actually hit the target. The girl doesn't leave so as they continue she's the first to his the bullseye. Hunter leaves her to practice and helps her brother. He's next to get it and practices like his sister. Percy is the last to get it but he does. All the demigods look shocked. After a few minutes of them practicing they change to swords. Percy and Solisse duel to show the kids even if Hunter corrects percy's form a lot.

"Why aren't you up here?" Percy asks him getting annoyed. Hunter turns to the crowd.

"Does anyone want to spare?" He asks. No one does anything to indicate that they want to die today. Hunter jesters to the crowd. "That's why. No one wants to spare because I'd end up winning anyway." He tells percy.

"I'll spare with you." Percy says.

"No!" Everyone in the room shouts. But Percy's determination got the best of him.

"You don't want to do that." Hunter offers him a way out.

"He's right. He killed the trainer when he was 12 because the trainer challenged him. Now he's 1700." Someone in the crowd tells percy. Hunter looks sad. Everyone knows it was an accident but Hunt still blames himself.

"I still want a spare." Percy says. Hunter looks to Amy.

"Take them." He says.

"Are you sure?"

"I don't want to hurt him." Hunter tells her.

"I don't want you to get hurt." She tells him.

"No one can take away the curse so I'll be fine." He trys to reassure her.

"You'll be weaker." She warns him.

"Exactly. It'll be harder to hurt him." Hunter tells her. She nods her head and reaches her hand out to him. He pulls out a metal box and opens it. I know what's happening as soon as the box comes out. We use those boxes to store our powers when we're not using them. Hunter puts the box on the floor as Amy closes her eyes in construction. Hunter's hair turns dark brown again and he closes his eyes. Amy lowers her hand and Hunter opens his eyes which are bright blue. That's his actual eye colors. I haven't seen him without his powers since we were little. We all got the boxes when we were 10. It's impossible to not have all your powers. If my memory serves he still has his powers from Gaia and Eros. When you look closer you can tell he's having trouble breathing. Not suprising considering without his powers it affects him more. He closes his eyes tightly for a second but anyone who doesn't know would just pass it off as trying to refocus after having his powers taken.

"What did you just do?" Percy asks.

"I took away his powers." Amy replies. Percy looks terrified.

"It just makes me a little bit weaker when it comes to sword fighting." Hunter tells him. Now he looks shocked. Hunter taps his ring and an imperial gold and celestial bronze sword appears in his hand. Clearly written on the blade is the word excalibur. Percy looks awestruck, as do all the other demigods. "Did you know that this is actually a mythological weapon?" Hunter asks him.

"That's freaking Excalibur. Like in the story." Percy says still in awe.

"Not a story." Hunter tells him. He walks onto the sparring mat and faces percy.

"Ready.... FIGHT!" Jacob yells.
