Today is homecoming and I'm staying home. I haven't been myself usually I just go to school and come home. My friends come over everyday after school and we watch Netflix till we pass out . The thought of Ocean sickens me, but I'm not even gonna cap I do miss her but we aren't exactly right for each other. I've been working on myself and I'm getting better and better at loving myself.

Today is my send off for homecoming and honestly I'm super excited though I'm kinda worried about Gabbi she hasn't talked to me since the other day and I heard about the incident that happened. I can't believe Ocean did that I really wanna find her and beat her ass. I knocked on Gabbi's door to see her staring at the ceiling.

" You know you can always talk to me.."

" I don't wanna talk to you I'm fine."

" It's okay to not be okay imma always be here for you no matter what I know your hurting and my little sister shouldn't deserve this I know you don't wanna talk to me but I'm finna get ready remember I Love You Gabbs".

    I straightened my hair and put on my makeup. YESS BOO YOU LOOK GOOD PERIODT. I laughed to myself and threw on my heels. Dasani came zooming in my room.

"DAMNNN look at my bitch looking good!!"

I did a twirl for her and we hugged.

My parents took pictures of us then we headed off too the dance.

All of the other girls were really doing there own things with there boyfriends so it was just me and Ni which was 100 times better on the fast songs we would shake our asses and on the slow songs we would twirl each other around and end up falling on the floor. Afterwards we decided to go to IHOP my favorite restaurant.

"Why u getting quiet?"

I noticed Dasani was playing in her syrup and wouldn't look at me.

"Oh umm nothing .." she let out a small laugh but I could tell something was bothering her.

" Come onnnn your like my best friend!!"

She let out a annoyed laugh this time  " Bwesties Forever!!"

I know she had something on her mind but I didn't wanna push it she moved across to my booth and laid her head on my neck while she scrolled through Instagram .

I noticed my phone was ringing and got nervous when I read the caller Id "Mi Amour🌹🐻"

"Hello??"

" Hey mamas what you doin?"

" nothing just out to eat with my bestie... You haven't called me in like 2 weeks what's up with that??"

" I've been busy!! I miss you though"

" I miss you too babe...  but I don't wanna do long distance anymore...."

" Wym? Imma come visit Florida as soon as I get my car fixed!!"

" It's too much I love you but can we just stay without a title until we Graduate and I actually get to see you on a daily...."

" Oh ard maybe you right we'll talk about this later my phone finna die I love you"

"Love you too"

I hung up the phone and took a sip of my lemonade.

Dasani started staring at me.

"Whatt??? Do I have food on my face?"
