so my boyfriend bill and i went ice skating last night. it was magical. but bill's mother still thinks we're just friends. billy is scared that his mom won't accept us but i'm sure she'd understand. she's his mother after all.
"hi babe... i know you hate when i bring it up but why can't i invite you and your mother over dinner and we talk about us?" i smiled shyly. he's afraid of so many things and i'm trying my best to support him in any way so he can fight his fears but his answers broke my heart, "i'm st-still not ready. p-please, wait f-for me a b-b-bit more..."
i looked down, trying so hard to hide my tears. bill noticed though and asked, "you're not m-mad at me, r-r-right?" i smiled, "no, of course not. i understand!" i sounded so broken. but it's alright. he's my favorite secret after all.
my heart belongs to bill and i'm going to wait until he's ready to tell his mother because i trust him and i'm going to love my boyfriend until the very end. i'm not gonna give up on him. he's the love of my life and he will always be the love of my life until the very end.
