Part On; Meeting My Love

I was in my office at work when my boss had come up to me and said, "We are having a meeting regarding a new member of our team. Be there in 10."

"Will do, sir." I replied.

Great, another employee who will end up getting fired in 3 months, just like the last one.

I have always kept a diary of my life; and it gets pretty personal.

I had walked into the meeting and there stood the new employee. He was pretty hot, if we are being honest.

"Hey there" he said as he smiled my way.

I was shocked he had even noticed me.

"Hello, what's your name?"

"Andrew. And yours?"

"Lauren"

"Well it's nice to meet you." He said as he shook my hand.

My boss had come in and had introduced the new employee, who I had already met.

As we were leaving the meeting, Andrew approached me again.

"I know this is such short notice but, would you want to get some coffee?"

"Now?"

"If it's okay with you, I understand if you-"

"That would be perfect"

I said with a smile.

We walked to the corner coffee shop and got a cup of coffee.

I was about to pay for my drink when he said, "it's my pleasure" and paid for mine as well.

"You didnt have to do that."

"But I wanted to." He replied.

We chatted for awile until it was after 6 o'clock.

"Well I should be heading home now, this was nice, thank you."

"No problem, see you at work" he said with a smile as we headed in different directions.

When I got home, I wrote a diary about this Andrew.

Dear Diary,
I met a man today named Andrew. He works at the office now. He is very sweet, he took me to get coffee and paid for it, without offering.
I hope to see him again soon, even though I would see him tomorrow, I couldn't stop thinking about him. Am i crushing? Well, I guess I will have to figure that out on my own. Until tomorrow!
