After work, I went straight home. On the drive home, I stopped at an In-N-Out Burger for dinner. I got in the drive through and ordered. When I was finished ordering, my phone buzzed, and i had gotten a text.

The number read; Unknown.

And the text read; I'll be coming soon.

That was it.

I shook in my seat, and I didn't know what to do. Did he know where I lived? Was he coming after me? Maybe I should go to a friends house for the night. But I shouldn't be scared, I beat him once, and I would do it again.

I just shook it out of my mind and drove home. I thought about replying back, but didn't. He didn't know what he was getting into. He would under-estimate me, and not know what was coming. I would have something ready, some type of weapon just in case he did come, I should be prepared.

When I got home, I put a metal baseball bat next to my door, just in case.  I sat down and ate my food while I watched the 6 o'clock news. As I was watching, I was thinking, how would he have gotten out of prison in the first place? He might've escaped, but why come after me?

I finished my food, and went into the kitchen. As I was washing my dishes, I heard a knock on the door. My heart raced, going faster and faster. I took a deep breath and went over to the door. I grabbed the metal baseball bat, and slowly opened the door. I had it half cracked when I realized who it was.

I had a huge sigh of relief, when it was just my friend, Kelly.

"Oh, hi." I said, putting the bat back into place.

"What's the matter? Do you think you're going to get robbed or something?" She asked.

I laughed and replied, "no, but you can never be too careful."

"True." She said nodding her head as she walked in.

She sat on the couch and watched the news with me.

"Want anything to drink? Tea, Coffee, Water?" I asked as I was walking into the kitchen.

"Coffee please." She said, watching the news.

I went into the kitchen and made some coffee.

"So, what's up?" I asked.

"Nothing, I just stopped by to make sure you were, okay." She replied, looking into the kitchen.

"OH, I'm fine. I've sort of gotten used to it." I told her as I filled the pot up with water.

"So, you know that really cute new guy, Shane?" Kelly asked.

"No, sorry." I told her.

I haven't really paid attention to anybody lately.

"Oh, well, I think he likes me." She told me, smiling a big smile.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah, and he's having a party tomorrow night, and I want you to come!" She said as I handed her a cup of coffee.

"Oh, I don't know." I told her.

"Oh come on! It'll be fun!" She told me.

I could tell she really wanted me to go, and I should return the favor, since I had blown her off a couple of times.

I sighed and said, "Why not."

She squealed and said, "Yay! I'll pick you up at seven."

"Okay." I told her as I sat down on the couch.

We sipped our coffee and watched our favorite television series, 'Supernatural'

"Sam is sooo hot!" She told me.

I laughed and said, "I know. So is Dean."

"Oh the things I would do-"

"Okay!" I said cutting her off.

We were both laughing, and I could barely breath. We had finished all of season 9 by midnight.

"Well, I should get going." She told me.

"Okay." I said.

"I'll see you tomorrow."

"Okay, I'll be ready."

"Oh, and make sure you wear something, dressy, and short." She said laughing.

I laughed along and said, "I'll wear something dressy, but I don't know about short."

"Okay, well bye." She said, walking out the door.

I locked it and went back on the couch. I was getting bored of the news, so I turned it off and cleaned the kitchen. It wasn't that bad, but it could still use a cleaning. As I was mopping the floors, I heard a knock at the door.

"Who could be here this late?" I asked myself.

I grabbed the metal bat, and cracked open the door.

I sighed again, knowing who it was.

"Sorry, I forgot my phone" Kelly said as she walked inside.

"It's okay." I told her.

"Okay, well I'll see you, well later tonight. Since it is 12:30." She said laughing.

I giggled and said, "Okay, bye."

I locked the door again and went into my room.

"See what am I worrying about?" I asked myself.

This is just silly. He can't escape from prison, and if he did, it would be all over the news. He can't get me, and he never will.

I put my pajama's on and laid down in my bed. I had to have the television on in order to fall asleep. I plugged my phone in to charge, and laid down. I was starting to fall asleep, when my phone buzzed.

I'm coming.

That's all the text read. I knew who it was, and I wasn't threatened at all. I replied;

I'm waiting.
