I decided to ignore it for now. He came back in with his pajama's on.

"So do you want to rent a movie?" He asked me.

I just remembered I was supposed to be making coffee.

"Sure" I replied, "I still have to make the coffee though."

I got up and started making it. Whille Andrew picked out a movie, his phone rang again.

It was an unknown caller.

I picked it up and answered it.

"Hello?" I asked.

The other end of the line was quiet. Andrew got up and said, "Who is it?"

"It's an unknown caller, they keep calling."

"Let me see it."

I handed him the phone, and he said, "Who is this?"

He was quiet for a moment, than he said, "I'll talk to you tomorrow, goodbye."

"Who was it?"
"My accountant. He is trying to get me a better deal on this apartment."

"Oh." I replied.

He replied a little too quickly. What if he was lying? Was it a woman? Was he cheating?

I had so many questions in my head.

"Andrew?" I asked. This was the only question I would dare to ask, to see if he was lying.

"Yes?" He replied.

"Do you really love me?"

"Well, of course I do! Are you okay?" He asked.

He came over and hugged me, but I didn't hug him back.

"Are you sure? Because why does this person keep calling? Is your accountant female?"

"In fact, she is. And of course I'm sure."

"Than why haven't I heard from you. Why couldn't you come during Christmas? Nobody works on Christmas."

"I wasn't working. I was here, with my roomate, they cancelled my flight."

"Why didn't you come after? I didn't even hear from you. I called you 4 times on Christmas, and you didn't answer once."

"Look, I'm sorry. But we are together now. That's all that matters."

"Andrew, are you seeing someone else?" I asked.

He paused for a minute and finally said, "Of course not! Why would you even think that?"

He looked a little shocked, but for some reason, I didn't believe him.

"Andrew, I'm serious." I replied. I really wasn't in the mood.

"Of course I'm sure. You can even ask Jim."

He started to wallk towards me, but I didn't want to be near him at all.

"Lauren, I'm being serious. Please believe me. Here, call the number. See for yourself."

He punched in the numbers and handed me the phone.

You have reached the voicmail of accountant Jane Nylon, I am not available at this time, please leave your name and number and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Have a good day.

I took the phone off my phone and handed it back to her.

"See." He said, "I promise you I'm not cheating. I would never do that. Why would I even think about it. I love you and only you, Lauren."

I was really hoping this was true.
