We took a cab back to my house and hung out for a bit. When I unlocked the door, Josh said, "You have a lovely home."

"Thank you." I said smiling.

I have to admit, Josh is cute, but I don't think I would date him. He was tall with blue eyes and brown hair. He was dressed nicely in a black suit and dress shoes. I liked him, but I couldn't date him. He looked too much like Andrew, and I couldn't go through that pain ever again.

I noticed he was standing in the corner, and I could tell he felt a little awkward.

"Please, sit down." I said, motioning to the couch.

He took a seat on the couch, and just sat there.

"Make yourself at home." I told him, "I know it's a little awkward and I'm sorry. You don't have to stay if you don't want to."

"Oh no, it's okay. I really want to hand out, I just don't want you to feel uncomfortable." He replied.

I smiled at him and sat down on the couch.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" I asked, grabbing the remote.

"Sure." He says as he takes off his shoes.

We sat on oppostie sides of the couch together, and as the movie progressed, we got closer and closer.

"Lauren, do you want to go to lunch tomorrow?" He asked as he put his shoes on.

"Sure! What time?" I asked.

"Is noon good?"

"Yes. I'll see you then."

"Goodnight."

"Goodnight." I said and hugged him.

Wait, does this mean I'm going on a date?

Its only 11 p.m., and I wasn't tired. What should I do?

Than it dawned on me! I haven't wrote in my journal in forever!

I ran into my room, grabbed a pen andy journal than went back into the living room.

Dear Diary, or Journal.
Where do I begin? I haven't wrote in about 2 weeks. There's been so good things, and bad things that have happened to me. Well, let's start with the bad stuff. After Andrew's funeral, I cried a lot. I wanted to finish my speech, but never got to finish because I was crying. I felt awful for his mother as well. I took her to lunch after. I really like Mrs.West, she's so nice and caring. I mean, we were engaged, so its normal, right? Is it still normal to hang out with Mrs.West? I don't really care either way, I liked her and we are still going to talk.
On a happier note, I met another guy. Well, Kelly introduced us. We got a new employee at work, Shane. He was all over Kelly, and they were having a big party. Kelly brought me along, and that's when I met Shane's friend, Josh. He's really nice, and funny, but I don't know if I can date him. I mean, I like him and all, but he just reminds me too much of Andrew. He just left about 15 minutes ago, and we are going to lunch tomorrow. The reason we left the party was because of an 'old friend'. I started getting calls from an unknown caller, and I just ignored them. But they kept calling and calling, than they turned into threat texts. I went to the phone store and asked them to identify the number, and it was him. James. He was back. He kept calling, and I guess he escaped jail. I saw him at the party, watching me. We immediately left the party and came back here. I'm still being very cautious, but you never know.
Anyways, I will try and post on a daily basis again.
Until my next post,
-Xoxo Lauren
