I thought this would be a love story between innocent Taehyung and mafia boss Jungkook. It was more of the story of how Jungkook became the most powerful crime lord in Korea and it was so fun to read because it had you at the edge of your seat the whole time.
Jungkook was born and raised purely to take over his grandfathers mafia, but Jungkook never wanted to be the next leader, he never wanted to hurt anyone. After he found out that he had a younger sister, he started to make a plan to get both himself and his sister out of the hands of their evil grandfather and away from the life of crime.
Slowly over the years, Jungkook secretly gained the trust of politicians, of other crime lords, of the young and smart detective Min Yoongi, of the famous sharp shooter Kim Namjoon, and a few others. Then Jungkook ends up meeting the chief of police's son and friend of Yoongi's, Kim Taehyung. They become very close, but Jungkook has many people he has to protect and many people who don't know his true identity. Both of these facts might be his down fall.
And then every thing goes to shit when a new player enters the game.
There's a second part that the author is currently working on ("Beware of the Code Dragon" 20 chapters as of right now 11/7/19). About Jungkook taking over as the biggest and most feared crime lord in Korea. And Jungkook isn't to be messed with now.
