She walked.
She didn't know where she was going but all she had wanted to do was get far, far away. She let her mind play games with her. Making her see the things that she had not believed in.
She couldn't take it anymore so she ran.
She ran as fast as her two legs would take her. She didn't use any super speed or anything out of the ordinary.
If people would look at her, all that would see was a person in a black cloak running.
Would they care? No.
The people had far more important things than to stare at others who were running.
She was in one of the most richest area's in California. It was strange to others why they would live so close to the woods but the woman knew why.
They were werewolves. She was also something, but it was not a wolf. All they would smell is a human scent on her. They all think that she was human. If only they knew.
The woman had known that she did not need to run but her mind was going crazy. She needed to get to the place. The place she had gone way to many times to forget.
She needed answers.
Why would the gods do that to her?
Had she committed a sin that she was not aware of?
Or were they just trying to give her a hard test to see that she would pass or not?
She ran.
She didn't know what to think of the situation.
She ran.
Her head ached as she saw the opening of the woods. She was not supposed to be in California. It was too risky and someone could see her.
She didn't care.
She ran.
Her insides were burning from the lack of oxygen. She did not deserve to breath.
She had done this.
She had caused this mess and now she had to repay it. She had to do it.
She ran and abruptly came to a stop. It had looked the same as she had left it but she could see that it was much messier then usual. That had ment that she had came and used the place.
She walked in a fast pace and stopped short when she had got to the window.
Nobody could see what was going on inside except for the owner, their descendants and those who are mostly intrusted with a jewel. The jewel that could open the door and let outsiders see.
She looked inside and was relieved to see that she was not inside. In fact, her scent lingered but it was strong enough to state that she hadn't been there for a long time.
The woman walked to the door and opend it.
She stepped inside and quietly shut the door then turned to look at the morror that she had summoned.
Letting out a sigh of exhaustion, she pulled her hood down.
The woman was beutiful.
Beauty didn't do justice for her. She was exquisite. Very fine indeed.
Her usual long blue hair was cropped and had reached her shoulders. Her natural red and green sparkly lowlights only enhanced her beauty.
Her eyes, a deep electrical blue and irises swirling with different shades of colours. Her perfectly shaped nose and her full perfectly shaped lips were pulled into a smile. A familiar smile that she couldn't forget.
The red bloody coloured lip gloss made the smile look sinful.
The woman took the rest of the cloak off and looked down at her body.
She stood short. At least 5ft7. It would be pretty tall for the humans but her height was considered short in her world.
She needed to be 6ft at most.
Her petite frame did nothing to hide her curves. Her dark skin glowed but her eyes spoke volumes.
She had different emotions running in her eyes. Negative emotions.
Anger, sadness, self-loathe but the thing that was clear as daylight wss the devastation in her eyes.
It was clear that she had lost something in her life that was most precious to her. She wanted it back.
She wanted her life back. The one she knew that she could never have.
She had completed her purpose in life but she had still never really lived her life.
She wanted it back. The perfect family and perfect life she had in the past. She wanted it back.
She wanted to lay in her husband's arms while looking down at her children. A proud smile on her face.
She wanted all of it back.
A tear escaped her eye and went down the woman's delicate cheek.
A had laid on he shoulder.
The woman instantly jumped at the sudden contact of skin to skin. She quickly wiped the tear that had almost made it past the side of her mouth and turned around.
The woman had not expected what she saw.
She had thought that it was just a dream but the reality of the situation hit her hard.
Her emotions took the best of her as she uttered the word she had never thought that she she would utter again...
"Mma."
