Chapter 11

Aquamarine slowly tried to pry her eyes open but it was useless. It was like someone had taken the strongest glue ever to exist and applied some on her eyes so that she couldn't open them.

She could hear everything around her from the past week... yes. She had been out for a whole week.

The first official day of her being unconscious was spent at some type of cave. She could feel people's hands on her... some pervert even tried to touch her but was caught in the act of trying to slip her pants off. She felt disgusted and helpless. She was in a very seriously venerable position and people could take advantage of her at any time.

They were injecting things in her but she heard some doctor say that the effectiveness of the potion would last only 3 days.

The second day was spent in the middle of what she thought was an ally... some woman found her after drinking her life away in one of the most famous clubs there. She immediately called the ambulance and cops to come quick. She told them that it was very important and that the matter was serious.

The ambulance came in less than 5 minutes and they took Aqua away to the hospital.

She could smell all the different types of chemicals and hear the people in the ambulance asking her questions.

She felt like slapping each of them and telling them how a person cannot answer when they are not conscious.

They identified her at the hospital and called her family.

Her family as in everyone knew that she was in the hospital.

Her father and other siblings came and stayed with her for some time but had to leave on the fourth day while she was unconscious.

Thulisa came in and shed a few tears. She thought that Aqua couldn't hear anything because the "docters said so".

Note the eye roll.

They knew nothing.

Thulisa said a few words which were surprisingly not mean and for the first time in a while... Aqua felt loved...

Her heart swelled with love but her thoughts came crashing in.... it was technically her fault that she was kidnapped then almost taken advantage of, then she was dumped in an ally where some drunk girl found her....

Wow.... her life sounded horrible.

She had to take responsibility for her actions... she did it to herself so she was going to take the blows that were slowly closing in on her.

Aquamarine fought to open her eyes but all she got was a huge wave of pain.... her head felt like it was going to explode... Thulisa left a few minutes earlier but her sister and her mate were there.... her mate was also accompanying the couple.

Aqua could feel his stare on her body and face but it was mostly focused on her neck.... Aqua wondered if there was something that bothered him on her neck...

She groaned out as the pain got worse but fought it. She had to open her eyes.... even for a second.

Lola heard a small groan like noise escaping Aquamarine's parted lips and she immediately stood up... Aqua's mate was already ahead of her as he was hovering over her limp form and analysing her for any movements or anything thay could indicate her waking up but it was futile.... the only thing they could see was her eyes twitching but the king felt proud that she was trying to open her eyes... but that didn't mean that he felt at ease about the whole situation.

Lola's mate stood up as well and opened his mouth to speak only to be interrupted by the phone ringing.... it was Aqua's phone.

Thulisa had brought it in earlier and talked to Aqua... they told her that she could hear some things that were being said so she made an attempt to be nice and bring her the phone... she had tons of messages and missed calls so she just put it on the table and left it.

Lola quickly took the phone in her hands and looked at the name flashing across the screen....
