"So, I don't get to choose the ring I have to wear the rest of my life?" Caroline asked obviously not liking the ring Bonnie had picked.
"Hey, if you don't want it.." Bonnie said giving Caroline a look.
"No, no, she wants it" Stefan said looking at Caroline pointedly.
"Now what?" Caroline asked sighing.
"Now is the part where I explain the rules. The witch who spells the ring has the power to despell it so if you ever do anything to hurt anyone-" Bonnie began to threaten. Claire understood where Bonnie was coming from but wished Bonnie would just lay off.
"I'm not gonna hurt anyone" Caroline snipped.
"You are a vampire that means the urge to kill is a part of who you are. The minute you let it take over, I will stop you." Bonnie said strongly.
"Bonnie" Claire snapped. "Chill." She snapped moving closer to the witch. "Why don't you be a little more understanding and a lot less threatening. Caroline didn't ask for this to happen, so why don't you get off your high horse and be her friend. Not a judgmental little bitch" Claire growled taking another threatening step forward. Bonnie moved away slightly intimidated by Claire knowing the younger twin had the ability to not only hurt but kill her and Bonnie wouldn't be able to do anything about it.
"Ok, why don't we just calm down." Stefan said rising from his seat. Claire glared at Bonnie one last time before going towards her sister. "Bonnie, please" Bonnie sighed and started the spell.
"All done" Bonnie said.
"So that's it?" Caroline asked putting the ring on her finger. "I mean nothing witchy happened. You know, no flickering lights, no gust of wind. Have you ever done this before?" She asked suspiciously.
"Caroline" Stefan sighed looking at her.
"What? I just want to make sure that it worked" Caroline said. Bonnie marches over to the curtain and rips it open. Caroline flinches waiting for the pain but it doesn't happen.
"It worked" Bonnie grumbled. Claire glared at Bonnie.
"What if it hadn't Bonnie?" Caroline snapped.
"She's all yours" Bonnie said to Stefan grabbing her grimoire.
"I'll walk you out" Claire said with controlled rage. Bonnie looks at her nervously but follows her. "Look, I can forgive you for being a complete bitch to me after what happened" Claire said walking her to the door. "But if you continue to be a bitch to Caroline, especially when she needs you most, I will hurt you Bonnie. You're my best friend and my love for you is the only thing that's keeping me from siphoning magic from you to see Henrik. Continue to hurt Caroline and I won't care anymore." Claire threatened opening the door. Bonnie looked at her for a moment before leaving.
