3rd Person's P.O.V
*DRRIIING*
"Chaos. Class dismissed."
Murmurs were heard throughout the classroom.
"Professor Reborn is so brutal... I can't believe we're stuck with him at the end of the day."
"But he's so hot, don't you think? I think by looking at him is the perfect way to end the school day."
"Honestly, you really don't know anything, do you?"
"Finally! School's over!" Tsunami cheered as students began to leave the classroom.
*Whack*
"Dame-Tsuna, don't celebrate too early. You have assignments to work on tonight." Reborn held the homework for the day in his hand.
"Mou, Renato..." Tsunami rubbed her head.
"Reborn-sensei... actually, I didn't receive the homework..." The former rain scratched his head sheepishly.
"That's your fault for not being in the classroom when Reborn-san handed the papers out, Baseball-freak!" Hayato glared at him.
"A-ano, Yamamoto-san... Reborn-sensei gave me an extra sheet, so you can take this." Chrome shyly handed the extra to Takeshi.
"Arigato, Chrome-chan!" Takeshi smiled brightly.
"Oh? You guys are still extremely here?" Ryohei peeked through the classroom door.
"Hn. Crowding Herbivores." Kyoya walked past the door without sparing a glance inside the class.
"How was school, Nagi? Did anyone bully you?" A pineapple was seen by the door.
Chrome smiled and shook her head, "School was fun, Mukuro-sama."
"That's good."
"HIIEE!"
Everybody stopped and stared at Tsunami.
"What's wrong, Nami-chan?"
Tsunami ignored the nickname and asked, "Isn't it about time we pick up Lambo from his school?"
Everyone looked at the clock on the wall.
"Mm... I guess it is around the time that Lambo should get out of school," Takeshi calmly stated.
"Come on, everyone, I don't want him waiting too long for us." Tsunami headed towards the door.
"Tch. You don't have to worry about that dumb cow. He's already grown up." Hayato said as he followed her.
"But don't you think that Lambo could get carried away in his younger body?" Chrome spoke up quietly.
Tsunami, who heard her, froze for a second before sprinting away. The others besides Reborn grabbed their bags and quickly followed Tsunami, not wanting to be left behind.
"OOIII, WHERE ARE YOU GUYS EXTREMELY GOING?!" Ryohei yelled as he ran to catch up with the Tsunami and the others.
"Kufufu~ I think I'll head home. I'd rather not get into any annoying situations."
Reborn sighed and snapped his fingers. Leon went to get his master's bag and brought it to him.
"Being back in their younger bodies sure has made them like they were before, don't you think? I hope they can at least get to enjoy their time with Tsunami a bit here before we leave..." The chameleon licked his hand in agreement.
**Flashback**
"Will you be our boss, friend, and family again?"
Panicked, Tsunami stuttered, "Wh-what are you guys doing? Stand up, guys, please!"
"Not until you answer us, Yumesawa Tsunami." Reborn demanded.
"A-alright, I agree. This isn't like you to be kneeling, Renato. Please get up."
"You don't get it!" Reborn blurted out. Tsunami flinched a little at the tone he was using.
"I still can't forgive myself! I can't forgive myself for not being there as your guardian! I... I wasn't there when you were suffering because of that stupid curse. I wasn't even trusted enough for you-"
Tsunami let her knees hit the floor as she hugged Reborn.
"I already said it once before, but I'll say it as many times I need to. I didn't want anybody to worry about me. I had already accepted my fate, and there was nothing you could do to about it."
Reborn was about to say something, but Tsunami cut him off and forced him look at her. "Listen," she said warmly, "don't keep blaming yourself for Tsunayoshi's death. It was his choice of not telling anyone about his condition. Even if you try to force it out of him, he wouldn't tell you. You know how stubborn he can be when he's protecting someone."
Reborn stayed silent and tugged his fedora down.
All the guardians had silently stood up and tried not to let Reborn know that they saw him in that state. Reborn would've hit them so bad that they lost their memories.
Byakuran chose to talk, "Great, now that you guys talked that out, let's talk about your time limit in this world."
"Eh? Time limit? Why can't we just stay here with Tsuna-nee for the rest of our lives?" Lambo asked.
"Because, Lambo-kun, that would destroy the balance of the world," Byakuran explained. "Kawahira and I decided to work together so that you guys could spend a year here, and only one day would pass in your original world."
"If that's the case, why can't we stay here for a longer period of time?" Hayato demanded.
Byakuran had a pained smile on his face. "You don't understand. We did everything in our power just get you guys to stay here for one year. Did you forget that there is no flames or magic in this world? Kawahira and I probably don't even exist here. And if we do, we would be normal, boring, humans."
"1 year... 1 year until we're separated, huh. I see... I guess we'll have make the best of what little time we have."
**Flashback ends**
