The door to the nurse's office was pushed open, and four people stepped in the room.

When Hayato saw Shamal sitting by his desk, he immediately asked, "How's Tsunami, you pervert? You didn't do anything to her, did you? I'll beat you up if you did!"

Shamal glanced at the boy before sighing. "Oi oi, you know that that's not how you talk to someone who's looking after your dear friend, right?"

 "Like I care!"

Shamal shook his head disappointedly. "Honestly, I take care of Tsunami, and this is the treatment I get? No 'thank you's? Maybe I should do something to her the next time she's in my care; it seems like that's what you want me to do since you keep asking anyway."

"You-" Hayato raised a fist, ready to charge at the doctor when he was being held back by Takeshi.

"Maa, maa, calm down, Hayato. I'm sure he's just joking."

"Of course he is," Reborn said from the door. "We'd never see him again otherwise."

Shamal internally shuddered at the underlying message.

"Um, Shamal?" Chrome called. "T-Thank you for looking after Tsunami," she bowed.

"It's fine, it's fine," Shamal waved his hand dismissively. "At least a pretty lady like you knows their mannar. Unlike a few certain people I know."

"Haha, sorry, sorry. Thanks for taking care of Tsunami," Takeshi grinned.

Shamal sighed and nodded towards Tsunami who was still unconscious on the bed. "You better take her home now."

"Tch." Hayato went and picked up Tsunami. While waiting for Takeshi to help lift Tsunami on his back, he turned to Shamal.

"You should know where we're currently living. If you don't, well, have fun staying outside until Kyoya decides to take pity on you. That, or Tsunami wakes up and sends someone. Whichever comes first. Anyway, just come to the house when you're done with whatever you're supposed to do here."

Hayato and Takeshi left first, bringing Tsunami with them. Chrome then lingered around before leaving as well, leaving only Reborn with Shamal.

"You know he cares for you, right?" Reborn broke the silence.

"Of course I do." Shamal ran a hand through his hair. "He may say all those things coldy, but I've known him since he was a brat. Not that I'm saying he isn't one now."

Reborn chuckled, "Well, like he said, come home when you're done. You know the address."

He walked to the door and paused before looking back. "And keep your hands to yourself, I don't want to have to bail you out of jail for harassment."

"What a shame. But then again, they're all too young for me anyway. Don't want to be labeled as a pedo."

"Oh? I thought you would say something along the lines of 'love knows no bounds'. Well, either way, just keep out of trouble. I'll see you later." Reborn nodded and headed to the exit.

 "See you."

"S-Shamal!" Tsunami suddenly snapped her eyes open and sat up on her bed. She then groaned and touched her head, feeling a headache brewing.

"Oh, are you awake? Here, drink some water." Chrome handed a cup of water to Tsunami, who gulped it down in one go.

"I had the weirdest dream in a while... Or would it count as a nightmare...?" Tsunami gave the empty cup back.

 "Hmm, what was it about?"

"In the dream, I saw that Shamal was at my school acting as the doctor again. When I saw him, he tried to reach for me, but I woke up right after that."

Chrome giggled, "What if I told you that your dream wasn't a dream?"

Tsunami looked at Chrome with slight horror. "What are you implying?"

"What she's implying, is that I'm actually 'at your school acting as the doctor again.' Nice to see that you're awake, Princess."

"Please don't call me that," Tsunami twitched.

Shamal ignored her and began informing her about her condition. "It's only a simple cold, so you should be fine in about a couple of days. Make sure you get rest, and plenty of water. Also, no school until you're better. Wouldn't want the other kids catching the cold after all."

"Got it," Tsunami reluctantly responded. "Who's on duty tonight?" she asked Chrome.

"Kyoya should be downstairs making something right now, and I'll be making breakfast tomorrow morning."

"Thanks. And sorry for troubling you."

"It's nothing. Just focus on getting better, alright?"

Tsunami nodded, and Chrome left the room, taking the empty cup with her.

Shamal yawned and scratched his head before facing Tsunami. "I'll make sure to give the school a note about your absence, so don't worry about that. And I'm sure Reborn will get you the school assignments."

 "Alright."

Shamal hesitated before turning towards the door. "Anyway, I'll be excusing myself now. Someone should be checking up on you later on with food. Make sure you get some rest before then."

 "Thank you."

Shamal was about to walk out when he heard Tsunami continue talking.

"But you see Shamal, this is just a simple cold," Tsunami hopped out of bed. "I'm not injured, and I don't need to be babied. I'd like to think I can take care of myself pretty well, with or without a cold."

By the time Tsunami finished talking, she was already out the door and heading down the stairs.

Shamal sighed and followed after her, "I should've known you would say that. You were being too obedient and quiet for my liking. Well, just make sure I don't get murdered here for not stopping you. Your guardians are overprotective as heck."

"That's not my fault," Tsunami argued.

'Oh, really now,' Shamal thought as he paused at the top of the stairs. 'From what I know, they'd all be glad to beat up someone for your sake.'
