" Your number 26?" The interviewer asked from below his thick-rimmed glasses. His raven hair falling over his forehead.

I walked to the table and offered my hand, " Yes I am. Nice to meet you."

He ignored it and pointed to the chair, " Nice to meet you too. Can you please sit down?"

I retracted my hand and quietly sat down in the metal chair. He placed his clipboard down and walked around to the other side of the table. Just now noticing the machine to the left of me, he hooked me up to it, checking to make sure everything was right before going back to his seat.

" I'm going to ask you the questions I have listed here and you'll answer them truthfully and to your best abilities. The quicker you answer, the quicker you can leave, so just do what I ask okay?" You can tell how uninterested he was with his job. Probably tired from all the crap other people had put him through today.

" I want to leave just as fast as you do, so ask away." I told him, making him lift his head just a little bit to reveal a smile that you wouldn't catch if you blinked before returning to his uninterested self. He flipped a switch of the machine and went back to me.

" First question: Are you fully human?"

" Yes." He looked over at the machine and went back to the clipboard. " Next question: What is your blood type?"

I thought about for a minute before speaking, " I believe I'm O+, but I'm not completely sure." I answered honestly as he kept glancing back over to the machine after I answered a question.

He was asking question after question and I rapidly responded to them as well just to leave. The questions weren't too bad until some started to sound very personal.

" Are you a virgin?"

" Excuse me?" I gave him a weird look and you can tell by his facial expression that he wasn't too happy that I didn't respond fast like before.

" I asked if you were a virgin? Can I just assume that you aren't? Most kids your age usually lose it by now." He said as he looked up at me.

" Whether I am or not, that's not a question I'm going to answer." I crossed my arms over my chest and stared at him defiantly.

" You was doing so well." He pinched the bridge of his nose, " I'm told to ask these questions by your potential employers, you know?"

" I don't care if the damn president asked if I was a virgin or not, I'm not answering that personal question. Now we can keep arguing back and forth about it and drag it on until you pass out from how uninteresting your job is or you can just go to the next question and your day will seem just a bit closer to ending. The choice is yours."

Fuck the employers and fuck this whole selection. The questions before were getting too personal anyway, but this was where I draw the line.

He stared back at me with the most emotion I've seen since I been in this room and then randomly, he broke into a smile that damn near made him attractive.

" You got some guts brat." He shook his head before sitting the clipboard down on the table. " That was the last question, so your free to go now." He turned off the lie detector before reaching across the table and unhooking it from my body with little effort.

I quickly got up and said a quick ' have a nice day' before opening the door and shutting it just as fast.

It was only now when I got in the hallway that I remembered what the lady said earlier.

"...You will be monitored from potentially employers. You can't see them but they will be able to see you, so be on your best behavior..."

I covered my mouth as I thought about the attitude that I let out to the interviewer and in front of those nonhuman employers. Thinking about it made me laugh a bit.

It wasn't planned, but doing something like that might make me unappealing to them. They wouldn't want someone who can listen or answer ' simple' questions. Someone like that can't follow orders.

I almost beamed at the idea of not getting picked as I made my way back to the lounge were everyone was seated. I couldn't leave just yet cause we might get told about a job and be hired on the spot.

But thinking about how I acted, getting hired was the last thing on my mind.

" Humans are so disrespectful." The orc barked as he crossed his arms over his wide body, seeing everything inside the interviewing room but the recipients not seeing them since it looked like a mirror on there side.

" I can't hire a human girl who doesn't follow simple instructions."

" They're forced to come here as requirement by law, do you expect them to be joyful about something such as this?" A brown haired man laughed, his hair pulled into a low ponytail stopping between his shoulder blades. Sharp nails quickly scratched behind his ears and his foot tapped silently in response before abruptly stopping. " But I needed that answer from number 26. She seems interesting so far."

" If you don't pick her Min-Jun, we'll be quick to snatch her up." The blonde haired boy teased as he sat so close to his dark haired friend. He rubbed his knuckles with his thumb as they sat their idly as they watched the interviews passed by until the one with the red suit came inside.

They both shifted as they watched her answer the questions and damn near chuckled when she wouldn't answer the typical virgin question. The twenty-five before either blushed and answered meekly, while others openly responded and not caring about the situation at all. 26 made it all interesting as she slowly let her attitude get the best of her.

" Oh? The foreigners are looking for something completely different from what they have back home? Going as far as you have, would you really want someone as defiant as her?" Min-jun raised an amused brow as he bored into the youngest of group.

" I wouldn't call her extremely defiant, but it makes her all the more interesting than a human who simply does what she's told without a second thought. Doesn't they sound boring. It's much more fun to put someone like that back in there place." The blond turned his head to look his partner beside him, " Don't you agree Sanie?"

His eyes glance down at the younger and a wicked smile graced his features as he stood up, the blond quickly getting up beside him as it drew the others attention.  He pointed to the lower demon that was there to tend to them with drinks and snacks a like.

" Demon, go tell your superior that group 4 we'll be taking number 26 with us."

" What?!" The orc yelled, how loud voice bouncing off the walls, making some of the sensitive hearing species ( like Min-jun) wince at the sound. " There's 28 more people left. How can you rush and pick someone so fast?!"

" Because he's just a brat. It's his first time going through the process of the selection and he's getting trigger happy from just being here and he's unrealistically picking the first one he likes." Min-jun said in a snarky tone, making San turn his cat like gaze towards him.

" Just because I know what I want doesn't make me a brat or trigger happy. This is what, your sixth selection and you still haven't found someone? Instead of being concerned with what we choose, worry about narrowing down what you want besides the person being human okay?" He gave a tight lipped smile as he walked out the door with the blonde right behind to collect his prize, not witnessing the way Min-jun's green eyes flashed gold and how a growl was stopped at the base of his throat to avoid making a scene. One thing that Min-jun hates was to be disrespected.

But San could care less as he worked a deal with the business manager in charge of the selection this time and was quick to shake his hand; sealing the deal.
