" Number 26, can you come to the office?"

Your body grew tired from waiting and you were dozing off in the chair that was placed in the corner when you felt a hand abruptly shake you, making you jump.

" Yes?" I asked, slightly annoyed that someone woke me up from my sleep. The irritation was clear on my face as I stared at the lady who guided me to the interviewer earlier.

" I asked you to come to the office." She repeated, quick to return the attitude as I stood up and I had no choice but to follow her.

I walked inside to see an older man, dressed in a clean navy blue suit with suede shoes to match. His hair was swept back and he gave me the feeling of someone who scammed people constantly for money. Someone to say or do anything to close a deal.

" So you're the lucky number 26. It's nice to meet you." He said with a charismatic smile extend a hand as I hesitantly shook it in return.

" Yes, that's me. Why am I here?"

" Well, I always personally congratulate the ones that get hired." He said and confusion spread across my face.

" Excuse me? Hired?" I asked as he nodded his head.

" Yes hired! You must be one lucky girl. You got picked by our foreign employers that came all the way from the other side of the world to select their perfect employee and that happens to be you." The happiness in his tone was so evident and that only made me worry more.

I thought acting like that wouldn't get me hired but it did the exact opposite?

" How lucky to be so young and manage to be able to fly to a different country for employment with such good pay? How lucky can you get?"

" Fly where?" I asked as I cleared my throat.

" Seoul, South Korea." He told me as he glanced at the papers on his desk. I clenched my chest, feeling my shirt wrinkle between my fingers.

That's so far from home. I just thought of my mother fainting from the news and I felt really close to fainting now before I felt the woman from before guided me into the chair, so I wouldn't fall on the floor.

" Are you alright?" She asked looking a bit concerned for the first time that day as I looked back at the gleeful man who was watching my reactions carefully.  I gathered my breath before speaking once again.

" I'm sorry sir, but I can't accept this."

The smile on his face twitched at the corners before shifting his face down and fixing the small alters in his usual smile.

" Can you leave us for a minute?" He looked up at the woman who glanced between us two before nodding her head and walking out the door.

Once she left the smile on his face dropped and he bored into my eyes.

" Listen here kid, you have no say in what you want and don't want in this selection. You got hired and you have to assist your new employers and that's all there is to it." He declared with a pointed finger.

" But I can't fly all the way to a new country unknown to me and away from my family," I argued as I witnessed his true colors.
