They gave me a week to pick up and handle other business before I was shipped off to the whole other side of the world.

The first two days I spent crying and packing with my mother until I couldn't physically cry no more. The well inside me had hit a drought and I felt like an empty shell as I did other task in the house. My family can tell how bad this was affecting me. Once being a ball of energy of the household has now became something unreadable to them.

They even let ALL my friends ( including Raven), enter the house to try and comfort me; just to see if I would open up to them, which only resulted in all of us crying and hugging each other at first.

" When will you be able to come back home?" Raven asked as her frozen tears stuck to her face.

" I don't know. I haven't even met them yet. I'm suppose to be meeting them at the airport when I go on Friday." I sniffed as Avery rubbed my back to soothe me.

" We'll keep in contact with you the whole way through. If anything happens, we'll be quick to rescue you. I'll make Avery create a portal for us to instantly be with you." Brandy said, trying be positive for us all.

" I would have to test the limits of my powers first. I don't know if I'm that powerful. Even so, we'll still be there for you as quick as we possibly can." Avery said with her mother like eyes that always calmed me down. I pulled her into a hug and let out a shaky breath.

" I'm gonna miss you all. My mom and dad too. I wouldn't feel this bad if I didn't have to move all by myself. I don't even know what type of species they are." I sighed into my hands as I pushed myself off the floor to finish packing the rest of my things.

They silently watched me before getting up themselves to help the process. What would have been done in two hours was cut to forty-five minutes.

" Let's take you out one more time. No more tears and frowns. I want you to enjoy these days right now while we're all here with you Mani. Can you do that for us?" Avery asked as the other two stared at me hoping for a yes.

I really wasn't emotionally capable of going out tonight, but the last day home I was gonna spend with my family, so this would be the only opportunity to spend time with them. I couldn't miss something like this.

" Well I don't know when I'm going to see you guys again, so where do you have in mind?" I stated as smiles grew on their faces before I was tackled to my bed with hugs.

" We thought you was gonna say no! Thank god you said yes!" Raven squealed, making me laugh.

" You're a demon. Why the hell you thanking God?" Brandy pointed out, making her suck her teeth.

" Why you gotta look so deep into it? I'm just happy she said yes." Raven argued as they all let me go, a little quicker than what I wanted. Just hearing them bicker had brought a smile to my face as I quickly changed clothes as they did.

" So where we going?" I asked abruptly as I stood in front of them.

" I say the arcade. Maybe a Dave & Busters. And the best part? It's all on me." Avery announced and it made the rest of us cheer. It's always better when you don't have to spend your own money.

" That sounds perfect, so let's go." I smiled as I walked past them as I quickly left my room and down the steps.

My mom was downstairs in the kitchen, finding something to eat. " Mom, I'm going out with the girls . I'll see you later." I gave her a hug and a quick peck before I was out the door, the girls just now coming down the steps.

" Can I speak to you all for a second?" She wiped her hands off as the three walked towards her, Raven keeping her distance.

" I just want to say thank you for getting my baby out the house. She was so miserable and I felt bad that I couldn't do anything as her mother. That's why I got in touch with Brandy's mom and asked for you all to come see her. It was a good choice and I just can't thank you enough. All of you are good people to my daughter, so please don't leave her alone."

Brandy went up and hugged my mom and Avery slowly made her way over as she still held her arms out from everyone, including Raven who felt like she should decline.

" I know that you heard that we're not too fond of nonhumans, but you're an exception Raven. You and my daughter are good friends and we have to accept that. I'm always worried about her safety from other nonhumans, but I know you're fine. You're always welcomed here but give my husband some time to adjust, okay?" She gave her a warm smile that was enough to bring Raven into the hug before they all let go, so they wouldn't keep me waiting outside .

But those next two days was filled were laughs and cheers. My friends never gave me a reason, let alone a chance to cry at all for that night. We had fun playing against each other in mediocre games and winning little stuff animals that I planned out taking with me in remembrance of it all. The next day after our final goodbyes, my family had put together something to make me fell happy as well, even though it almost made me cry happy tears. They made my favorite foods, my favorite desserts and everything else that I was fond of. They didn't want to leave me in that empty shell of mine and this was something that I needed before I go.

But every party must come to an end as I helped my parents clean up before we all went to sleep, since my flight was quite early in the morning. So, I closed my eyes, pushing the anxiety and sadness out my dreams for this one night before I leave.

I don't want my last good sleep at home to be filled with nightmares. I wanted to doze off to the pleasant memories of the people who love me.
