Chapter 14

After finding a meal to eat in the house thanks to San and Seonghwa, the older had offered me some clothes as well as a hot shower before I set myself off to bed.

In the shower, all I had with me were my thoughts.

I was really going to be sleeping beside some Alpha vampires tonight. Oh, how much my mother would be freaked out, let alone my dad. I think he would actually start shooting them.

I tried to have warm water wash away my nerves, even though it was struggling to work.

I was nervous to be left around them. I know they can't cause me extreme harm or it would terminate their contract with Simul and it would result in many more problems for them. But anything else would technically be fine.

I cant barely push off Wooyoung when he is by my neck and he's only a fledging ( as said by Hongjoong), so not one, but two Alphas beside me at night, who can easily overpower me; I just feel like it would be worst.

I turned the shower off and stepped out. Reaching for the towel, I quickly dried off and threw on the oversized shirt and shorts that they gave me. I threw the towel in the dirty clothes pin before stepping out of the room, grabbing my phone with me.

I walked around aimlessly,  looking down at my phone to see texts from Raven and Brandy, checking to see how I'm doing, but due to the barrier, I couldn't text them back. I was hoping that I wouldn't worry them and I promised myself to speak to them when I left here the next day.

So engrossed into my phone, I nearly fell bumping into something hard. My arm was grabbed and I was pulled up before I could even fall.

" You have to be careful now. What would have happened if I wasn't here?"

I looked up to see Yunho, offering a gentle smile before making sure my feet were steady before letting me go.

" I'm guessing I would have fallen on my ass." I laughed before returning a smile. " Thank you, Yunho."

" It's no problem." He told me as he was about to continue on his path before when I reached for his arm.

"Can I ask you something real quick?" I quickly said as he looked at me with furrow brows. I released his arm as he turned back to face me.

" Sure. What's the matter?" He asked me with this almost puppy like head tilt.

" Well Seonghwa and Hongjoong want me to sleep with them and I'm not sure if I wanna go through with it. I get that it's so I can get into the barrier and what not, but still." I mumbled while rubbing the back of my neck.

" Sleeping with them as in going to sleep in the same bed or sleeping with them as in the other thing?" He raised a brow before laughing again as I pushed him.

" I mean sleeping in the same bed as them." I argued before continuing, " I mean, is it really necessary for me to do it?"

" It's not just about the barrier situation. Plus, they did it with all of us, including San and Wooyoung." He started off, " It's a demon/ monster thing to put your scent or mark on areas to mark as yours. Not saying that your property for us, but if your walking around with those two, unmarked by an Alpha at night, you could get attacked too. You wouldn't believe it, but hyungs are quite feared around here and it's undeniable to not recognize them."

" So, they're really doing this to protect me. They aren't trying to tease me." I came to a realization and it technically makes sense.

Even though Yunho says I'm not; I'm legal property to them under Simul and since I'm supplying their fledglings from their den with my blood; they have to keep me safe as well.

" Yes, they want to make sure your safe because here they are more likely to act out since it's many rules restricting us nonhumans. There's a lot who like to rebel and act out against them. It's a precautionary measure." Yunho nodded as I stood there to process it all.

" Okay, that makes me feel a bit better." I thanked as I bid him goodnight before heading back to the room Seonghwa told me to meet them in.

I glad that I can take directions since I made it to the door and knocked.

" Come inside Mani~!"

That sounded familiar...

I opened the door to reveal not two but three people inside the room. Of course, two of them being the Alphas while and they other being Wooyoung as he went to hug me.

I nearly forgot that Wooyoung was suppose to be here as well.

I looked around the room to notice a lack of someone.

" Where's San?" I asked as Hongjoong and Seonghwa gave each other a look before turning to me.

" Sanie got snatched away so it'll just be us for the night." Seonghwa explained with him climbing into the massive bed first.

" Snatched by who?"

" JongHo and Mingi. It started with Mingi since he was upset that you got him in trouble and he took it out him. JongHo joined just cause he wanted to." Wooyoung shrugged as he pulled me to the other side of the bed, setting my phone down for me.

I didn't even wanna question it cause I can just tell that it was for something sexual.

" We'll he be okay?" I asked as Wooyoung ushered me to be in the middle, even though I would rather sleep in the edge.

" San has dealt with worst, so he'll be fine." Seonghwa sighed as he moved over for Hongjoong to get in behind him and wrap an arm around his waist. Wooyoung moves to get in bed before the covers were pulled over everyone.

" Amani, are you comfortable?" Seonghwa asked, him facing me.

" Yes, I'm fine." I answered as I felt Wooyoung wrap an arm around my waist as well, matching Hongjoong.

" Good, then sleep." He ordered as he closed his eyes,

It took awhile but I managed to fall asleep after awhile, in the comforts of Wooyoung's arms.
