"Zen, Zen are you done sleeping? "
I opened my eyes and saw Kiki waking me up
"Where's y/n? " I asked
"Mitsuhide saw her off, and she went home" Kiki answered me
"I see.. Hm? "
I felt something under my hand

"She must've forgotten this"I said to myself
" Prince Zen, excuse me for interrupting your rest" I heard someone said
When I looked up I saw a blonde tall man standing in the doorway
I smiled and said
"Oh hello Lord Haruka."
Time skip~
"Don't meet up with people from the outside so carelessly?? " I repeated Lord Haruka's word to me
We were walking towards my office when Lord Haruka suddenly said that to me.
"You mustn't forget your position as prince of this country. You must carefully choose whom you become close with" Lord Haruka said
"In order to protect myself and my authority right? I know" I said while flipping through y/n's encyclopedia
"If you understand then stop inviting that town girl of unknown lineage to the palace" He said to me
Here we go again.....
"Does it bother you that much? " I asked calmly while still looking through y/n's book
"That girl will have expectations and take advantage of you. What if she asks for social status appropriate for her position, or asked to be introduce to the King? What will you do if she asks you for selfish things" He rambled on
'Damn he just keeps on going' I thought
"Submitting quickly to the strong, and never trying to advanced with her own power. keeping a girl like that by your side will only draw criticism from your retainers.You have nothing to gain from it! " He finally finished
I closed the book
"Never trying to advance with her own power huh? I see.. Then what if it's a girl without those expectations? " I asked
"Your Highness, where would you find a girl like that?? " He asked me back
"I'm just asking if it would be alright of there was one" I said
"If you're saying that such a girl exist, then I would definitely like to meet her" He said
"She was just here, didn't you see her?? "I said
"Your Highness, I didn't come here to engage wordplay with you"he raised his voice
" I'm not playing either Lord Haruka. "I said calmly
We stared at each other for a while until
" Very well, I pray that you will see the truth soon your highness."he said before leaving and closing the door
"Sigh* I need a change of mood. I'm going to exercise" I said to Kiki before exiting my office.
Y/n's pov
I was quite surprised to see that there are actually some medical herbs growing around the palace.
I'm pretty sure this is the shironagi herbs but the leave's shape is a little different.
I thought
"I should check the encyclopedia" I talk to myself
