"That must've been hard", chief Garak said to us
Shirayuki and I were taking our break while Ryuu was writing a patient's medical report.
" Oh no everyone was there with us", shirayuki explained
"Even so...I was genuinely worried when I heard you also got sick shirayuki" Chief Garak sighed
"You don't have to worry about that, apple head here is strangely fast when it comes to recovering from any illness. " I nudge shirayuki with my elbow.
"I'll take that as a compliment, unlike you y/n, I have a good immune system since I actually take care of myself" Shirayuki nudge back at me.
"Hey what does that supposed to mean? "
"you often study until dawn. You're like a nocturnal animal"
"Excuse me?!? "
"Pfft.. " The chief tried to held back her laugh before she bursted out laughing.
Ryuu just ignored us and continued to write his report.
"Even so... You both did great " Chief Garak smiled
"Yes good job" Ryuu complimented us
Well that was unexpected. I thought to myself.
We both just smiled at their compliments.
"You both can take the rest of the day off" The chief suddenly said
"But everyone is still worki--"
"Rest is important too" Chief Garak cut me off.
"And from what I've heard you don't get enough rest y/n." She continued
"Right" I gave up
I heard shirayuki giggled
We grabbed our things and headed towards the door.
"Well we'll be leaving first then" Shirayuki said
"Good work" The chief said before we closed the door.
Chief Garak's pov
Y/n and shirayuki had already left.
"They're working hard huh? " I said to Ryuu who was still focused on his work.
"That's right" He answered with his eyes still glued to his report.
I smiled seeing him so focused.
"Speaking of which.. I wonder if they knew? " I said to myself.
"About what? " He stopped writing.
I made my way towards my desk and sat down. As I opened a book I answered, "About Prince Izana"
