After walking around for 5 minutes eating fairy floss and popcorn they came to the hammer game, (the one where you have to strike the plate as hard as you can with a huge hammer to get the little metal ball to hit the bell) looking at the back bored with all the big prizes the girl saw a huge white wolf teddy with deep crystal blue eyes (her favorite color and animal), her eyes lit up and the boy could tell that she really wanted it. He stopped and looked at the girl “you really like that wolf teddy don’t you?” he asked grabbing her hands and holding them tightly, “yeah I really do” she replied. With a sigh the boy looked up at the wolf hanging there, “ill give it a go just cos you’re my special girl,” he let go of her hands and walked up to the lady holding the hammer. The girl smiled and followed him grabbing his drink from his hand as he grabbed the hammer. Standing back in line with the metal plate he lifted the hammer onto his shoulders ‘please don't hurt yourself” the girl told him, looking back at her the boy smiled “I won’t, I promise.” He relaxed his shoulders getting ready for the first swing he took a deep breath and with a big swing he hit the plate, it hit the little metal ball but it only went up one third of the way. He sighed and with another deep breath he lifted the hammed up again and gave it another shot, this time the metal ball went just above half way, “one more shot kid” the lady said leaning on another hammer. He paused and looked at the girl, she smiled at him then looked at the wolf and gave him a look as in saying (I really want that teddy) he turned back around and looked at the bell on the top. Once again he sighed, swung the hammer back and with a huge swing the hammer hit the plate and sent the ball shooting up and out of his surprise it hit the bell, “we have a winner!” the lady announced . The girl jumped for joy, she had never had someone win her a prize before let alone a guy, the love of her life. She jumped to his arms and squeezed him with excitement; he hugged her back just as much. “Take your pick” the lady said to the boy pointing to the wall of stuffed toys. “The white dog please” he replied “it’s a wolf” the girl whispered in her breath but was loud enough that the boy turned to look back at her and correcting himself. Grabbing the wolf he turned back to the girl and handed it to her, she slightly squealed from excitement nearly dropping their drinks.
