Foxkit woke up, he was excited. Today Snowpelt promised to tell him an even better story about her ancestor, Ambersong.
Foxkit stood up and walked up towards the nursery entrance. He smiled .
"Runt! Move !" Lionkit snarled and swatted Foxkit's ears. Foxkit jumped up and ran , afraid to get hurt by Lionkit.
"Wimp ." Bravekit sneered , Sunkit merely looked at Foxkit . He looked like he wanted to say something, but he didn't .
"Hello Foxkit." A strong voice said. A shadow appeared over Foxkit , blocking out the Sun.
It was only Cloudwhisker, Snowpelt's son. Foxkit shivered, the tom was so large and could easily kill him if he wanted.
"Are you going to see Snowpelt?" He asked in a booming voice.
Foxkit looked up frightened , "Y-yyyes." He stuttered
"I won't hurt you Foxkit." Cloudwhisker tried to reassure the kit, but to no avail.
Foxkit nodded, his heart raced. Cloudwhisker reminded him of Lionkit, except he didn't hurt him. Cloudwhisker had always tried to be nice to Foxkit for some reason.
"How about you go get Mousepaw so she can change the Elder's bedding?" Cloudwhisker asked , Foxkit nodded , he was scared to disobey.
Foxkit walked off, he didn't say bye to Cloudwhisker.
The kit found Mousepaw talking with Bravekit. Foxkit shuddered when he saw his older brother.
"Mousepaw ? " Foxkit said," C-ccloudwhisker wanted you to change the Elder's nests."
Mousepaw nodded, disgust in her eyes. Foxkit could understand , every apprentice hated doing that.
"Alright Foxkit. Bye Bravekit." Mousepaw said and walked towards the Elder's Den, her tail flicking.
"Why didn't you just do it Runt?!" Bravekit growled, Foxkit trembled. The look in Bravekit's eyes, he looked murderous.
Foxkit whimpered, "C-ccloudwhisker told me to get Mousepaw."
Bravekit glared at him before walking off to go see Lionkit, he growled ," Keep away from Mousepaw Runt."
Foxkit watched with his tail drooped, did Bravekit like Mousepaw or something? Or was he just looking for a reason to lash out at Foxkit? It wasn't my fault, Foxkit thought sadly, Cloudwhisker had told me to get Mousepaw.
