Jungkook stopped, realization hit him hard. By now, Taehyung knew that he existed but it will probably stay that way. No friendship, no relationship.

"Here you are!!"

Jungkook jolted as someone slammed the door open. A fuming Yoongi appeared in the doorway.

"You bastard!! Don't hide again from me you little... fucker?"

He eyed Jungkook with a confused expression as the younger silently stood up and drew a cross sign on his chest. Yoongi rolled his eyes in annoyance and huffed.

"C'mon, I won't actually kill you, you idiot. Don't act all dramatic, let's go."

With that being decided, the smaller boy pulled Jungkook out of the classroom and together they went to their next class.

"This is going to be so boring.."

Jungkook gave his bestie an eyeroll.

"Just shut up. You're always saying that!" the younger whispered.

"Ugh..."

Yoongi dropped his head down on the table. It's been roughly 2 minutes since their biology period started and the mint-haired boy had already given up. Jungkook sighed and forced himself to pay attention to the teacher, who was talking about unnecessary stuff.

"Would you please listen to me everyone?"

'Oh god, not again.' Jungkook thought.

"At the beginning of the year we informed you about the biology project which will start now! We also decided that we will mix the classes so that everyone has a completely different partner."

Everyone let out a groan and began to complain.

"Be quiet!" the teacher silenced the class.

"There are a few students who will leave the classroom in biology period and others from the grade will pair up with the students here!"

Jungkook threw a horrified glance at Yoongi, who also didn't look happy.

"The people who are going to leave are..."

Jungkook has never prayed so hard in his life for Yoongi and him not to get chosen. The teacher kept on listing names but Yoongi's and his own weren't coming up.

Until...

"And last but not least, Min Yoongi!"

Jungkook's heart stopped beating for a second as he threw a worried glance into his best friend's direction.

"Sorry Kook, I gotta go..."

The mint-haired boy slowly got up and and mouthed a 'You'll survive this' to Jungkook before he left.

Now it was the Maknae's turn to drop his head on the table. He was already so damn done with this horrible project. The door opened and some students from the other classes entered.

Jungkook wasn't even motivated enough to lift his head anymore, assuming that it definitely wouldn't get any better. But as the others started screaming from excitement and happiness, he decided to take a look. And all of a sudden, he was hella whipped for the project again.
