As they arrived at school, their ways parted since the first period was biology which meant the first thing Jungkook was going to see was Taehyung. Blushing slightly, the brunette huffed and walked into the room. The blonde was already there, typing something on his phone.

Jungkook slowly came closer, curiously peeking over the older's shoulder briefly. kookie97 immediately caught his eye. Quickly, Jungkook sat down infront of him and dropped his backpack on the floor what made Taehyung jolt in shock, he hadn't noticed the younger until now.

"Holy fuck— never scare me like this again." Taehyung leaned back, trying to calm down.

"I-I'm sorry..." Jungkook mumbled, eyes fixated on his lap.

"It's okay. Good morning by the way." Taehyung smiled at the younger.

"Morning.."

"I just need to text someone real quick." the blonde explained, pointing at his phone.

Jungkook nodded, pulling his phone out aswell, looking at the lockscreen. His assumptions were right.

Taehyung's heartbeat increased as he read the word 'tae' over and over again. His idol just gave him a nickname and Taehyung was about to blush himself to death.

"A-are you okay, Taehyung?"

Jungkook's tiny voice brought him back to reality and he noticed that his cheeks were burning like fire.

"Ah, yes, I'm totally fine, it's just really hot in here." Taehyung laughed awkwardly.

'Such a bad liar.' Jungkook thought and did an imaginary eye roll.

Jungkook stared at the display. Was the older talking about the hatred he felt for him? Blinking away the tears which formed in the corners of his eyes, Jungkook focused on the screen again.

That was all he needed to hear. A tear rolled down Jungkook's cheeks and a sob left his lips. Taehyung noticed this immediately.

"Jungkook? What happened?" the older panicked slightly and got up, walking over to the younger.

"I-I'm not feeling very well.." he choked out and sniffled afterwards.

"Do you want me to bring you to the infirmary?"

"N-no... I'll just go outside a bit.." Jungkook murmured and went to the teacher, wanting nothing more to be away from the older at the moment.

"Okay.." Taehyung uttered silently, watching as the younger spoke to the teacher.

"Who's your partner?" the teacher questioned, looking around.

"Kim Taehyung."

"Then he's going to accompony you in case you black out or something else happens. Besides, he wouldn't have anything to do if you're gone."

Jungkook's eyes widened in shock and his heart skipped a beat. Why do things like this happen all the time?

"Y-yes, sir."

Smiling reassuringly at Jungkook, the teacher called Taehyung over and explained the situation to him.

"Got it. Let's go, Jungkook." Taehyung flashed him a smile and gently pulled the frozen Maknae out of the classroom.
