Hanji's POV

"Don't leave me!" I jumped in my sleep, panting heavily and catching my breath. My eyes darted around, seeing I was safe in bed. I grabbed my glasses and put them on, hearing those whispers from those girls again.

"What is she doing? Dreaming of her imaginative boyfriend?" Kelly snickers under her breath, staring back at me with her brown eyes. "She's too crazy for this kind of thing."

"She is a scientist- all scientists tend to go insane at one point. Looks like she started early." Hannah chuckles, getting ready for her classes. "Oh, heard all the chatter, Kelly? A transfer boy straight from Germany! He's too serious, too... I don't know- manly."

"I have my eyes for him, Han. Leave him alone." Kelly says to her before leaving the room.

One day, I just wished... just wished I wouldn't get those nightmares. They always teased me, and there was nothing to do about it. It was the common college life. Stuffed into dorm rooms with girls you hated so much... and always teasing when you do something so small.

For some reason... that nightmare was so clear in my mind. How I was standing over a man who was dying. I cried for him, like I knew him. He kept saying he loved me, and how I would never leave him. But, the nightmare ended- and I was a lunatic for dreaming that nightmare. That nightmare will always haunt me. It's been unclear until now.

"Oh my goodness!" Kelly squealed in the halls as this boy walked through. "It's him!"

I could've turned away and continued to work on my homework in the courtyard, but it was... too demanding. I turned to see the boy. I gasped when I recognized his face- the man in my dreams.

I recognized that familiar raven-hair style- how he had his undercut and how his hair was medium length. His piercing gray eyes with a hint of blue in them- how it was always brewing up a storm. And his scowl- that emotionless scowl. It was his poker face- not telling how he felt or any sort of weakness. That was him.

For some reason, I walked towards him, clinging onto that name I remembered from that nightmare. Was it even worth it? "Don't leave me..." Why did that haunt me more than ever? I had to ask him- could it be a vision? No, that's not scientifically possible. But I managed to catch up to him... and there were these flashes. I didn't remember them at all- not in my nightmare. Different types of... dreams. Fragments of dreams. How he was standing in front of me, with a small grin. No... it wasn't real- not real at all!

"Don't leave me..." I say quietly, seeing everyone stare at me. The man started to walk at a slower pace, like he was trying to listen to me.

"What the heck is Hanji doing? Talking to my man?!" Kelly shouts, and I wanted to push her away- far away. Call it a hunch, but it was like I knew what I was doing.

"Don't leave me..." I repeated, walking behind him. "Levi... don't leave me."

He stopped in his tracks, slowly turning around and staring up at me. "How do you know my name?"
