Hanji's POV

We managed to spend most of our time just chatting with each other. In a way, I watched his stone-cold facade fade away into something that was... kinder. He didn't smile, but I saw his gray-blueish eyes sparkling stars. He wasn't who he seemed to be... he was like... a giant teddy bear- yet smaller. But the more he talked, the more normal I felt.

Levi seemed to have somewhat similar experiences with my nightmares. Instead, he just sees things fade in and out. He said that I was lucky to dream them and instead of being called out insane for witnessing something that was part of his mind.

"Levi, I-"

Suddenly, his phone began to ring and he sighed heavily. "Sorry, Hanji... this damn guy is always on my tail."

"No no, it's okay..."

He nods his head and got up to his feet to answer that phone call. As he walked away, I leaned back and looked out into the river. I closed my eyes to think of that riverbank in my nightmare... it would never leave me.

I panted softly as I heard a small whisper in my head. No... it couldn't have been my nightmare! But my eyes gazed in front of me, seeing some blurry figure.

"Levi..." I hear her say as she struggled to get to the top of the hill. Everywhere was destroyed. But she still carried on with the man on her back- tripping and falling from his weight. "F-For a shorty, you're really heavy..." I listened to her trying to laugh it off, but her laugh soon turned into tears.

But she carried on, carrying him. She didn't pause until she was right next to me- where she collapsed to her knees and the man was laid gently on the ground. She shuffles through her pockets, mumbling things I could not hear. After shuffling through her things, she finally found what she was looking for. A flare gun. Quickly, she loads in a flare, covers her ears, and shoots it in the air. The purple flare shot up, and the woman collapsed again.

"G-Glad I kept a spare one... let's hope someone finds it..." She then goes over to the man, stroking his hair back. "Levi... why? Why did you leave me like this...?"

It felt like an hour until we spotted some horses. A blonde headed boy gasped when he saw Levi and the woman. "C-Commander Hanji..."

"Help me get him on..." She says through gritted teeth. "He will get a proper burial. He deserves it. Not like the trash Zeke had treated him. Levi was always a good human being... not trash that has been discarded. He had enough... and he deserves the best."

The boy nodded, looking over to this girl with shorter, black hair. "Mikasa, help me please."

The man was up on the horse, and the woman wouldn't leave his side. The blonde boy then turned over to the woman, sighing softly before talking. "Hey... Commander Hanji..."

"Armin, what is it?"

"Are you okay? You don't seem stable..."

"I am stable. Just... let's get to HQ right now. Levi needs... he needs rest."

"Hanji." I jumped at hearing his voice, and everything faded. I looked over to him, seeing Levi look down at me with such worry. His gray eyes examined me, trying to read any signs on me. "Are you okay?"

Jumping to my feet, I nodded my head and began to speak at a quick pace. "Y-Yes I am."

Levi shrugs and sighs, "Well, I gotta go right now. Show me around the school some other time, okay?" He then began to walk out, but I just nodded my head and didn't say another word. He just... walked out of there. "Actually," he then turns around with such a smug smirk on his face, "Hanji, you can go out and show me where my dorm is."

"O-Okay..." I then followed him out, growing heavily warm near him. "What's your dorm name?"

"Uhh... something with the Scout-"

"Oh!" It's the... Scouting Regiment House! I know that place..." My voice dropped down a bit as I held my tongue from saying anything else. But, it seemed that Levi already caught on.

The way he stared at me like I was crazy, yet curious about me. I saw the way his gray eyes sparked up a bit, and his smirk grew a bit. Why did my heart pound so loudly in my head? Why did my breath struggled to breathe? "You do, huh?"

I nodded my head nervously... "Yes..."

"How so?"

"I-I live there..."

"Oh?" He gave a small smirk and followed wherever I went. "I'm on the West side, room 221. You?"

"E-East... 318..."

Levi smiled and chuckled. "That close, huh? Kinda interesting... oh well, makes it easier for you take me around."

We walked in silence until we got to SRH, and we were ready to part our ways. But it seemed that Levi wasn't ready to give me up. I was about to leave, Levi grabbed my arm and pulled me onto him. My head bounced onto his warm chest, and I felt warm. He chuckles softly as his cold hands reached for mine.

"L-Levi..."

He just chuckled softly and pecked a small kiss on my cheek. "I'll see you tomorrow, Hanji. I'll be awaiting for you."

My phone rang in the middle of the night... and I was just about to lose my mind. It rang multiple times... and when I checked the time, it read, "3:11 am." All the messages were similar along the lines of: "Stay away from him."

Curiosity got the best of me, and I looked at the first picture sent to me... it was me with Levi in front of SRH... and Levi was giving me that peck on my cheek. Instantly, I turned on the flashlight to look at the girls in my room, but they were gone.

Suddenly, phone rang again. "Hanji, you little freak. He was my man."
