'I hate B.O big time'

When I next wake up I am on a large bed in an empty room. I can hear screams and shouts coming from downstairs and attempt to get up to find out where they’re coming from. But the minute I lift my head I feel dizzy and have to put it back down again.

I hate being like this, so helpless and weak. It’s nothing like my usual self. I want to get up. I want to do something active.

The door opens slowly and I close my eyes until I am fully sure that I know who they are.

“Is she ok?” I hear a voice say, it’s a familiar voice, a girl’s voice, soft and chirpy; Annie.

“Should be, she’s been asleep for four hours. Peeta, why did you have to push her?” a second voice says, it’s sweet but at the same time aggressive; Katniss.

“Sorry Katniss” I hear another voice whisper. It’s a nice voice, calming and kind; Peeta.

“She must have pissed you two off pretty bad to make Peeta shove her. He wouldn’t normally hurt a fly. Unless he’s in a football match anyway” this voice was more masculine, cool and jokey; Finnick.

“She just barged in on us whilst we were in a cupboard” Katniss said.

“Well, she barged in on us when we were making out in a bathtub. How rude. I thought that if we were in a bathroom nobody would be able to get in. I locked the door and everything didn’t I Annie”

“Yeah” Annie said, I opened my eyes just a smidge so that I could see them but they couldn’t see me.

Finnick had his shirt off again and Annie’s tights were ripped in various places. Her hair had also fallen out of her curls.

Peeta’s hair was ruffled and he also had his shirt off. He had a long rip on the side of his shorts. Katniss’ shoelaces were undone and her braid had fallen out. Her shoes had a faint stain on them and I suddenly remembered why I had blacked out in the first place. I had barged in on Katniss and Peeta, Katniss had dropped her Vodka, hence the stain, and then Peeta had pushed me.

“You two look a right state anyway, what happened in that cupboard? One thing’s for sure, I’m certain you weren’t having a tea party”

“Shut up Finnick” Katniss snaps back and I can’t help but smile in my sleep.

“Anyway, it’s half one, we should probably head back to Annie’s” I hear Peeta say before calling to someone behind him.

“Oi Cato, you can come and help us now”

I tense, Cato, what’s he doing here? I hear someone approach me before picking me up slowly and cradling me in their arms. I take a small whiff and nearly retch. They smell of Lynx, Vodka, beer, and sweat all rolled into one. I know all of a sudden that it’s an unfamiliar person. Nobody else would approach me without ridding themselves of all sweat. This might be ironic, as I am a sports freak, but I hate sweat and B.O big time.
