I walked home from Ashton's house at around Five. Mom was making rice and soup, and Suri was sitting on the ground, building a Lego tower. I bent down to my sister to see her tower. It was still pretty small, but was, nonetheless, pretty good seeing as how Suri was 4. She had clearly put quite a bit of detail into it.

"How was school, Razim?" My mother asked, turning to face me.

I stood up. "Good." I said, simply.

"I heard about the new student in your class. Audrey?" She said, confirming her name.

"Yeah, Audrey...ah...Myers." I responded. "She hasn't spoken yet, so I can't tell you what she is like unless you want a totally stereotyped impression based solely on looks."

My mom sighed and sat down. "Well, let's hear it."

I sat down across from her. "She's got this big scar that goes diagonally down her face like this." I dragged my finger down my face, demonstrating the path of Audrey's scar. "It even cut into her eye, whatever gave her that scar. It's...off-white...no other colors, except for a part of the scar cutting across it.

Mom nodded, clearly in shock. "I see."

"The kids at school call her Scarface." I tell her.

"Even Ashton?"

"Especially Ash."

Suri toddled into the room right then.

"Cookie!" She exclaimed, happily.

I picked her up. "After supper, Suri. We don't want to ruin your appetite." I told my little sister before turning back to my mom.

"Poor girl." She said. I knew she was referring to Audrey.

I nodded. "Yeah..." I agreed.
