Previously:

I cuddled into Joel's arms and fell asleep to his warmth

~

I woke up to the sound of Diana's crying so I got up, did my morning routine then grabbed her out of her crib and walked out to the kitchen. I set her down in her high chair and gave her a chupón.
(By the way a chupón is a pacifier🥴)
I began to cook eggs with some chopped hot dogs.

I then hear some foot steps behind me so I quickly turn around and saw Joel. I toke a big breath of relief knowing it was Joel

Joel: hey, hey it's just me. You okay?

Y/n: yeah i just got scared

Joel hugged me

Joel: don't worry I'm here

We stood there for awhile but Diana wasn't having it so she through her chupón on the ground and began to cry

We stopped hugged noticing that Diana wants some attention so Joel went to calm Diana down while I finish our breakfast

Once I was finished I set the table and gave Diana her food and gave Joel's his. We all ate like a family that I always wanted

[2 years later]

Me and Joel got married and had we ended up having a little boy. His name was Eliott

Me, Joel, Diana, and Eliott were at a restaurant eating some dinner

We were spending our time at the mall since the restaurant was inside the mall.

When we where done and was ready to get into the car to go home someone stopped Joel

I ended up noticed that Joel was talking to someone so I got out the car, closed the door and right when I looked up I saw a woman with a kid, And the kid noticed me and shook his mom's arm so that the woman could notice me too

She turn her head right towards me.

???: and who are you?

Y/n: oh I'm y/n

I put my hand in the air to shake her hand but she gave me a weird look so I put my hand down

There was any awkward silence but Joel broke it

Joel: ... Myra this is my wife

Joel said nervously

Myra: ARE YOU SERIOUS! YOU REALLY STOPPED-

Joel interrupted her sentence

Joel:AND this is Diana and Eliott

Joel said pointing inside the car

Then Myra looked inside the car and began to get really angry

Myra: YOU KNOW WHAT. FUCK YOU JOEL, I KNEW YOU WOULD NEVER COME BACK FOR ME OR JOHN!

Joel: I THOUGHT YOU GUYS WERE GONE FOREVER!

Myra: YOU COULD HAVE KEPT ON TRYING BUT I GUESS YOU DIDN'T WANT TOO SO THAT YOU CAN GO WITH THIS HOE!

Joel: DON'T-

I cut Joel off

Y/n: Okay, okay. first off sweetie don't even dare call me whatever you want too and second off your using profane language around your son so why don't you move along and leave us alone

Myra: come on John, I guess daddy wants to be with somebody else

And Myra walked away while we got back into the car

Y/n:so care to explain what was all that about?

Joel stood silent

I looked at him and he looked at me

Joel: I'll tell you when we get home

Y/n: okay

~Minutes later~

When we got home I put Diana and Eliott to bed since they fell asleep during the trip back home. I went into the living room and saw Joel sitting down on the couch with his head down. I sat right next to him and snuggled up with him

Y/n: so who was that earlier today?

Joel: ...That's my Ex wife
